Do you remember a Tavares Battles that played DL at J.O. Johnson? He is a sophmore at JSU now. He's pretty high on the depth chart, too. I don't remember Comegy signing him, he just kind of emerged on the 2013 roster. Had a solid freshman year, too.

yea.... Comegy signed him.... I was at his signing day.... he showed up on JSU's list that year on signing day.

At first I was wondering when he was gonna pass.. Then I was wondering why he never had to pass to a covered receiver.. LOL But he did a great job when eventually his WRs were covered.

..as for his brother, I am not sure if we have seen a WR-QB brother combo since McNair played QB for his older brother. The crazy thing is his brother took a redshirt his senior year so that he and Steve could be seniors together.
