And according to the NCAA. No band is enshrined. Just displays.

JR your wrong there buddy. Us and FAM were enshrined at the same time when we played in the CCC. I was there. And as part of the Enshrinment there are displays and a documentary video. Liddle and White went to an induction dinner the Thursday before the game. FAM and JSU bands performed at the Hall of Champions that Friday before a parade. FAM went first then the Boom.

They do tons of different exhibits surrounding the culture of college football. There are NO bands enshrined in the Hall of Champions. Go take a visit looking for it so you can be disappointed. :lol:

You have never seen that. Sometimes the precussion section had a different uniform but that was on purpose. You have never seen them in wind suits. :smh:

The Jukebox ain't broke son. We take care of our own. LOL. You better ask somebody. The HJAA (Human Jukebox Alumni Association) and Kappa Kappa PSI- Zeta Nu Alumni are doing our part. You might need to go ask your own about their Association and what they do.

I just looked at the layout and I see nothing about a Hall for Bands. Not even for the PWCs. Next time I am on my way to my other alma mater Ohio State for a game I will check it out myself. Also the only special exhibit they have for us is for HBCU football and it only runs for a few months.

When was this? Tell me a year the Juke has not left Mumford for an away game EVER. The only game the Juke missed this year was PV because they insisted on having that game at their Blackshear Middle School Stadium. LOL. Otherwise they would have made their normal trip to Houston every year as they always do. Now they did stop going to Huntsville for a moment. But went this year. We ain't never been confined to the Boot. Juke alums will never allow our program to fall to that kind of non travel.

As it turns out, "No", no band is enshrined in the HOC. There have been, however, various displays during various "cycles",
where the HOC celebrated the various traditions and excellence of HBCUs.

The gentleman that I spoke to said that they are done with that display for this cycle and that it has nothing to do with a particular organization, per se.
The HOC just chose to highlight the culture of HBCUs in general. He could not verify that jsu was there in a previous exhibit/display, but,
he could indeed, without a doubt, confirm that jsu is not/was not enshrined.

I just wanted to share this bit of information with you....now, carry on.........

Lets be real, SU forced JSU to add brass, we control you, have always controlled. I used to have a lot of respect for Da Boom but they want to be SU so bad. The only bands that have stayed true to their history in the SWAC are SU and GSU. Everyone else is either in an identity crisis or is a copy of SU. Now let me get on the NCAA Hall Of Champions, JSU got in after GSU and FAMU so if you're happy in 3rd place so be it. The biggest thing JSU has done was The Motown thing, 20 plus years ago. SU and GSU keep adding to their accoladed. JSU has always been in the backseat, always. That is why JSU has never done a Superbowl, Rose Bowl, made national commercials, etc. SU has performed for the NFL and NBA outside of Louisiana. JSU has always been the band that gets the leftovers. We own you Boom and we have always. If a band makes you change your entire concept you know they own you.
