Furthermore, do you know how many Texas Southern employees have usernames on here that actually post?
Good point...TSU is still learning about the World Wide Web. Perhaps soon enough, when they complete their education, they'll also learn how to properly utilize it for the first time in school history...
July begins in a few hours, C-Leb... :read:
Glad to see XC up and running again by the way...couldn't learn about that on TSUBall.com, had to check it out on the TSU News page...

This is starting to get funny now... How a whole damn athletic department move from one school to a rival school? LOL
PV folks try to laugh it off, but I would be pissed off.
Hope Dixon sues. Then again, she probably won't win unless she signed something.
But, also...how would you announce a head coach if some sort of basic agreement is not signed to? And why would she make the move to sTu unless a basic agreement is not signed to?
Then again, we are talking about sTu. No telling what's going on. This woman just did not have common sense if she did not sign anything.
Time to open up the bank, Charlie Mac. The price you pay for wanting to bring in your own hire. Don't be a shark!

Dayum man, what is it with you? Do you have some kinda alarm on your computer that beeps whenever someone posts about TxSU?
?Based upon the inability to agree upon a contract, we have decided to move in a different direction,? says McClelland.
Reading is so fundamental TT:
When two parties can't agree upon a contract that means a contract hasn't been signed to begin with.
I thought ol' girl had already signed a contract back in 03/2008?
This is what we thought would occur:
1. JCole signed new WBB coach. (contract for 3 yrs)- taking care of one of his own - which was expected
2. Anticipating Charles leaving by this time.
3. CMac leavs PV for sTu.
4. CMac wants Coop on staff so he has to "re-assign" Dixon (asks her courtesy of course)
5. Dixon takes on asst HC position :retard:
6. Coop comes to sTu.
We'd already discussed those things back in March (?) or somewhere thereabouts. If Dixon came to sTu from Lane and didnt' sign a contract, she's dumber than dirt. :retard:

Houston Roundball Review said:Last week, The HRR reported Cooper could be named the head coach of the Lady Tigers in a matter of days.
TSU will honor the contract signed by Surina Dixon and interim AD Johnny Cole making Dixon the Lady Tigers head coach. Dixon was the head coach at Lane College -- where Cole was the head football coach -- two seasons ago. Dixon coached high school basketball in the 2007 - 2008 season.

HOUSTON -- Last week, word around Texas Southern University's athletic department was the naming / hiring of the next head coach of TSU's women's basketball team was a "done deal". In fact, I was told the contract of the new coach (Ms. Surina Dixon, former head coach of Lane College's women's basketball team) was in "six figures". I was told Dixon had signed the contract.
Hmmmmm

This coaching tenure sure was short...
HOUSTON, TX -- Texas Southern Athletics Director Charles McClelland announced today that a breakdown in negotiations with Surina Dixon led to changes in the women?s basketball program.
?Based upon the inability to agree upon a contract, we have decided to move in a different direction,? says McClelland.
Coach Dixon came to Texas Southern in March to replace former head coach Claude Cummings.
A national search for a new women basketball head coach will begin immediately.
Two months ago, The HRR reported news that Cynthia Cooper would be named TSU's head coach of women's basketball. Then, a few days later, The HRR reported Cooper would not be named TSU's head coach.
Though a "national search" will be conducted, one can assume Cynthia Cooper is the front runner to become the next head coach of Texas Southern's women's basketball program. :uhoh:

in there like it was where I posted it?
No where in there does it says "two months ago"
That "two months ago" quote came from Panthro's quote. I said that you quoted someone that went from "A" to "B". Notice, I never said that YOU posted both quotes.
