Texas Southern vs Jackson State: Game Updates

Well, well, well, I just made it back from the monsoon and just by reading some of these posts, guys are starting to run scared already.

JSU's defense completely and I do mean COMPLETELY DOMINATED Tex Southern's offense. This is the best I've seen them play all year.
Stupid azz people like mike and some of these su-ers have no idea how fast and how big our db's, our safety and our linemen are on defense. We made tex. sou. play like that, not humberto or their coach.

We tried to tell yall that Oliver was the key to this team. We could've scored 50 points on Tex Southern tonight, but our coaches called off the dogs.

All I know is JSU IS IN FIRST PLACE!! Yall gone listen soon enough, but it might be too late.:nod:

Ya'll defense was garbage. You played TxSU.......Their Qb's are the worst and couldnt throw a football in the ocean from 2 inches away. WR's were open all night and Haw was not impressive. TxSU had defenders in the backfield every play. jsu ya'll will be lucky to be .500 this year.

*whew* i'm just getting in from Baby Katrina. lol. It was raining cats, dogs and texas southern incomplete passes out there. It was an ugly one but we'll take it.

Let's be real here people. NO TEAM IN THE SWAC would have looked good in that stuff tonight. I think in the conditions to even score 28 points is good. Let's just keep in real. We are already at the bottom of football, you really think any of our arses could have gone out and done a decent job in that.

J-State you still have word to do, but you can not blame special teams in some crap like that. I have seen 1-A teams do worse or the same. Let it rest. They go the win, be happy fo them.

But Mike is right on two things, play-calling was suspect for both teams at times, especially for TSU, :smh: and our offensive line needs improvement but Oliver's ability to run and escape helps a lot.

Just so you know. Yall looked just like you did last week. This time you were playing TxSU and it was wet. You are no better than you were last week. You beat a poorly coached and prepared team. Your coach also went back to your best QB. If I was yall I would still be mad that he screwed up a win over TnSU by pulling Oliver. But, you just happy to see a win. Mike let me let you in on a little secret since my little brother plays for J-State, first of all, you can take that STUPID sig off your name of the ONLY SWAC trophy you'll get. You're a newbie son. You have NO ground to stand on, not even that FIRST title of yours. When you play the "S", you'll realize that. YOU look like a high school, always have and always will, even if you DID win a tropyh. What are you talking about? JSU held TSU to 18 total yards in the first half and only 7 points in the game. And the part in bold makes no sense at all. If TSU had defenders in the backfield on every play just how is Haw suppose to break big runs? :uhoh:

Oliver's ability to run helped all night. Atleast you saw it. I don't know what these other folks are talking about.

I'm not saying that the game should've been played perfect in those conditions. I'm saying that the play calling was atrocious. The offensive line was weak for both. The difference was that Oliver could get his run on. TxSU QBs looked like they didn't know what was going on all night. Just throwing the ball even if the man had the whole defense on him, they were throwing it. That's not what anyone teaches their QBs to do.

Anyway, I'm glad someone else could see it from jsu. Dang! I was beginning to wonder for a minute....:lol:
