This does NOT go well for our conference. If we want to re-establish SWAC dominance in Athletics across the FCS, things like APR and Ethicalness must be positive. The student will always come before the athlete in the term student-athlete. Yes, I am well aware that nearly every college coach does something that the NCAA does not catch.

I'm believer in taking things a certain direction when "ominous" signs are given. Both of the 2010 SCG participants lost to D-2 Tuskegee and now this situation has caused others from outside of the conference to probably look at our trophy as just "a piece of hardware".

This points to the complete termination of the SWAC Championship Game NOW. It needs to happen. The signs are there.

I just read a Texas Southern football player status on facebook and he says he regrets coming to Texas Southern. He just put it up 5 minutes ago.
