Texas Southern to get turf field from the Texans

We had alums on city council, commissioners court and the Harris County Sports Authority. The deal was a result of a critical need for their support, and arm twisting by them. The stadium could not and would not have been built without their support. The black voting bloc was only relevant to the extent it voted those people/alums in office, and then those elected subsequently appointed some of our alums to the sports authority.

Before worrying about Fertita's charity i would be concerned about TSU alums. Back to the if alums gave $100.00 a year we would be in good shape. This seems like a goal that can be reached.
