Texas Southern will be a force under Haywood for as long as he is around. The man is a great coach who knows how to coach up talent. Pittsburgh really missed out.

I know, I know has nothing to do with how well he coaches football. I like to sometimes repeat other people's comments in hopes they will see how silly they sound and just stop.

At a minimum he'lI need a year to turn things around. We'll be improved, but that is not saying much.
As for now, he has made changes to the program that have given it some much needed structure and discipline.

Haywood is going to have sTu competing for a SWAC title quicker than folks think. I was spot on with Hopson, and now the light is on a better coach in Haywood. sTu will enjoy the ride while it last.
