Texas AM loses another 5 star QB

I think I saw something on ESPN last night, but I was half sleep. What was Murray's actual reason for wanting to bolt?

Some are saying its because Sumlin didn't come to him about his plan to replace Spavital with Spurrier before those rumors started. Spavital isn't a good OC, but he did recruit both murray and allen. He's not a D1 QB anyway.

Wait did I just read, Dude can't transfer to any other SEC team nor A&M opponent that's on their schedule?
Man wtf are in these by-laws and scholarship documentation

That's standard par for the course when young ones transfer from a "big-time" program. He used the correct words, considering his dad attended and played for Sherrill there. The impetus is not to burn any bridge although much salt from the maroon folks will be thrown his way. In other words, continue to take the high(er) road, if possible.

They're now bringing up the car his dad got from a&m also...lol
All this over a 5-9 kid

Glad I turned that scholarship down in the 1980s. lol Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaangggggggggggg lmao!!!!!! No scruples or morality whatsoever... smh I am so tempted to call my cousin and ask him why God saved him so late and called him to preach lol :D instead of during the 1980s when he was cheesing w/ Sherrill on all those sideline pics getting illegal handouts for "running that ball."

I disagree. I think he is a D1 QB. He just shouldn't have insisted on not redshirting his freshman year but Sumlin promised he would play as a true freshman and it backfired. If Murray ends up at UH, Oregon, Tech, TCU, or Baylor he would be a Heisman candidate within 2 years of playing.

Murray could throw the rock too. I loved those Sherrill teams he had in College Station. He had some serious talent. Coach Sherrill is a cool mofo. Met him on a plane ride to Memphis several years ago. Just talking with him had me ready to sign up. Lol.

Aggies are stereotyped as being dumb but reading their athletics message boards , they confirm it every time. I'm loving these meltdowns. They haven't been right since they kicked RC out. They try to make these big knee jerk moves but they always backfire. A&M kills coaching careers. With all of the resources that school has, if you can't win then you just can't coach. Franchione got exposed at A&M while his previous programs (Alabama and TCU) are far more relevant than A&M currently. Same with Sumlin. UH is more relevant that A&M football.

Now they want him out but were dumb enough to give him that ridiculous contract extension after falling for the hype that Sherman's O-line created for Johnny Football. Sumlin's coaching has a 2 year shelf life so he should've struck will he was hot. I doubt the USC's or the NFL will look his way now.

They wanted Slocum out in the worst way. They cheered when the then future Secretary of Defense fired him. Yes, Franchione got exposed. I think he had only one decent season in College Station that ended in a bowl game against Cal.

I am wondering about that big contract. A&M also went through a lot of changes around 2012.
