Oh, I know who he is... I remember when he played at BYU! My point is "Trevor Who?". He's just another opinion with an azzhole (or is that azzhole with an opinion)?
 
Teams with Spread Offenses and mobile qb's give Saban problems... He likes to play zone, but those teams eat his azz up with short passing game. I don't think he can keep up!

The only thing that I think was surprising was seeing Manizel in person. His quickness and improvisational skills can not be simulated in practice. Then add to what Deuce said about coming off of an emotionally and physically draining game with LSU.....I knew Bama was primed for an upset.

As for Saturday, it could possibly be too close to call. Texas A&M hasn't looked great defensively, and I know that they will have the full defense back, but they are still suspect. Bama's O'line need to get it together because the key to a Bama win will be sustained and punishing drives with the ground game because Manziel can't score from the sideline.

To be fair, Texas A@M have always had swiss cheese defenses especially in the second half. You do remember all the 3 and 4 TD leads they blew in the 4th qtr when they was in the Big 12. :lol:

I won't be able to see the game. I'll be in Norman watching the Sooners. This will be my first game at a real BCS venue.

But I'm pulling for Money Manziel.

As ESPN has characterized it, this game is about VENGEANCE for Bama, and VALIDATION for A&M.

Both of those are very strong motivators. You have Bama coming in saying that last year's game was a fluke, and its time for revenge. On the other hand you have A&M saying last year's game was reality, and that they'll prove it with a win on Saturday. Again, I think Bama will win. I hate nail-biters, but this could be one. I'm picking Bama by four points.

I was pretty close on my prediction, except the par about A&M's defense. I'm just glad Bama won...whew!!!
