Terrelle Pryor (Sophomore) vs Tate Forcier (Freshman)

Let's me be the first to say that I'm now happy as hell that T. Pryor decided to go to Ohio State. If T. Pryor would've came to UM, then Forcier would've probably went some where else. Yes T. Pryor is a better athlete, but Forcier is a much better QB. That's already pretty obvious. And he's only a freshman. Pryor might go down as the most overhyped and overrated player since Ron Powlus of Notre Dame.

09 Stats CMP :ATT: YDS:CMP% : YPA :LNG:TD:INT:SACK:RAT

T. Pryor 25 : 46 : 351 : 54.3 : 7.63 : 56 : 1 : 2 : 1 : 116.92
T. Forcier 36 : 53 : 419 : 67.9 : 7.91 : 44 : 5 : 1 : 2 : 161.69

Rushing

T. Pryor 16 66 4.1 1
T. Forcier 24 107 4.5 1

I agree. Forcier's father, brother, and I think uncle all played QB so he has the pedigree. Pryor is athletic but he doesn't have a good arm and his running isn't all that. Who knows Pryor may break out soon. He may need some time to develop. I also don't think Tressel is using him correctly.

Hey, I agree because I was thinking that he was a lot faster and his arm was stronger. I think that Tressel is too laid back with his offense at OSU because they are never "flashy" or "tricky" or just "dog nasty." I am very serious when I say this, I think that they need an NFL style offense where it is very "up tempo" (IMO).

I agree.

Tate is a Qb prodigy......meaning he has been tutored for years. Just like that Clausen family. I remember them saying that the Forciers didn't like the Clausens back out there in Cali. LOL.

Tressel needs to bring in a NFL type guy to work with Pryor. He is also missing veteran WRs as well. Hartline and Robiske are now in the NFL.

The reason I feel this way is because I have seen a lot of their games and a lot of their problem is timing hence if they played at a more up tempo then a lot of their near misses (like the USC and LSU games). It is not like the guys are mediocre. Now you take like next year when or if OSU plays USC next year I bet you USC will be a lot faster and a lot better because USC is Young this year but still a monster and if they play the way they did this past Saturday USC will :flamethro them with a high scoring affair.

True but Pryor was probably the most recruited QB in the country two years ago while Forcier kind of flew under the radar. Pryor had every major program eating out of the palm of his hand.

Last fall, Forcier was home-schooling in San Diego and starring at Scripps Ranch High School.

How in the hell Forcier was able to pulled this off is beyond me. I thought you had to be enroll at a high school to play on the team. Oh well....

Tim Tebow did it as well...

I hope Pryor has a breakout season. He's only a sophmore so who knows? I hope he doesn't get put in the same category as Powlus.

I did see the replay of the ND/Mich game. Forcier is a talented QB. Looks like this was the type of QB Rich Rod needed for his coveted Spread offense.
