Tennessee State football no longer banned from postseason

The Tennessee State football team will not be banned from the 2015 post season as a result of a recalculation of the program's Academic Progress Report by the NCAA.

"All schools can have corrections and adjustments made to their APR figures," said TSU athletics director Teresa Phillips said. "We had sent some adjustments in prior to the (NCAA) release and those adjustments had not been approved. When (the NCAA) did approve them, it sent us over the numbers."

How are they going to compete for the HBCU Championship now? Do you join the SWAC or MEAC or just hope fans will say because you are 10-1 or 11-0 you are the HBCU National Champs without the $? Just a question

  • HBCU Championship? Keep it! We will still compete for a National Championship.
  • SWAC or MEAC? Don't need to join; when we can schedule and play the top schools in each conference.

You do know TnSt's athletic expenses exceeded its revenues in 2013-14. Good luck in trying to win the FCS Championship.

just make sure not to come on here saying you are the 2015 National Black Champs again when the Celebration Bowl will determine that. You have not went to a Bowl Game yet, so I'll wait?
Owned Record: 27-20-2. I see what you mean lol
