Teddy Bridgewater is falling, and there's no real reason why

Damn, y'all really love the SEC that much to exalt John Football like that?

Oh BTW, Russ Wilson played in the ACC and Big 10 ...
Ben Roethlisberger played in the MAC
Tony Romo played in the Ohio Valley Conference
Colin Kaepernick played in the WAC

... point being, conference affiliation DOESN'T HAVE A THING to do with quarterback prowess. Y'all seriously need to stop caping up for the SEC like that

Come on dude! No one is saying that just because a players comes from a small conference means he can't play! However, you can ignore what a player does in a great conference. Could Johnny be a bust? Maybe, maybe not. The fact remains that he continues to impress.

You named a few out of the few. Will Bridgewater be one of those few? We don't know know yet. All we know is that he failed to impress in his pro day.

That's why I hate the fact they pushed the draft back to May. Gives those "draft experts" even more time to nitpick and justify those expense reports LOL...
Personally, I don't think Manziel, Bridgewater, Bortles or Derek Carr should be drafted in the top 10. Even if a team drafts either one, they need to have a veteran in place their rookie year and prep the young guy for the future.

What does winning a Heisman Trophy has to do with being a good NFL QB? Not a d@mn thang. Can you come with something to prove your point. The last time I checked Brady, Manning (both of them), Wilson, Kapernick, Breese, Luck, or Rodgers didn't win a Heisman. Y'all are making this to easy for me LOL.

OMG!!! Someone please help this dude!!! You really didn't get it!

Did I say that winning the trophy means your a great QB? No! I made the point of race not being a factor because if it was, there was no way a black QB would be in front of a white Heisman winning QB in anyone's mock draft like Teddy has been. Lord Texas Southern University!

I can respect that. However, I think Carr has some NFL ready tools that can help a team like Jacksonville. I could be wrong, B
but I think he is better than people think.

Texas A&M's defense won the bowl game in the 4th quarter. The CB for A&M intercepted a Duke pass for the winning TD. The the defense of A&M got another stop or turn over to seal the victory for A&M. Stop trying to give Manziel all the credit.

Never mind the defense giving up 40+ points to Duke right? They are never in that position if Manziel didn't just go crazy in that 2nd half and lit up Duke. Stop trying to bring a good QB down to push your agenda.

Nothing to do with that all. I just can't stand when folks try to play the race card and discredit other players just because they aren't black. There are good white QBs too. lol

I know conference affiliation has nothing to do with their performance in the NFL. Heck the last time my team, Oakland was relevant was with Rich Gannon(Delaware) at QB. Jamarcus Russell (LSU), Kerry Collins (Penn State), Terelle Pryor (Ohio State), Jason Campbell (Auburn), and Carson Palmer (USC) couldn't get us over the hump or failed miserably. However, scouts can get a better feel for how they are going to perform when they see them going against top ranked defenses with top-level talent on tape. For those players that may not have had the chance to display that against that level, they may focus more on what they see in person at the workouts.

You haven't seen any of us say that Bridgewater isn't a good QB and won't be successful in the NFL, we are just trying to get 2 people to stop trying to push this crazy agenda about racism.

Johnny Football, (who won the F'n Heisman Trophy as a RS- Freshman in the best conference in college football), was reduced to a lower draft prediction due to his reputation as a "Bad _SS" or "Rebel" who makes his own rules. In his pro day, he shined like he has done so many times in his career.

If you were not trying to say winning the Heisman Trophy made you a good QB why did you mention he won the F'nHeisman as a redshirt freshman?

Dude said A&M's defense won that game

I love Johnny Manziel as a player and he's worthy of being a top 10 pick... but I really think Teddy B is ALSO a legit top 10 player. His ability to control an offense and read a defense makes him better than most of the QB prospects in the draft. At worst he's top 3 of all the QBs. His game film is legitimate. I have not seen one person in here point out something in games that says he's not one of the top 3 QBs available.

I remember some of you QB gurus here arguing that Tim Tebow would be a good NFL player (pre-draft), especially PsychoJag and number1.

But Tebow dominated the SEC. That should've counted for something lol ...

Correction! I said if given the chance to develop he could be an ok NFL QB.

Tebow also had a top 3 ranked defense with arguably the best weapon at RB/WR not named Reggie Bush in college football plus a load of other offensive weapons. Johnny football had a great OL, pretty good WR's, no running game, and a defense that couldn't stop the little giants on 3rd and 1. Big difference there.

If it is not racism, then what is it about. They are even some experts trying to put that scrub Tom Savage above Bridgewater. First black qb's weren't smart enough, then not disciplined enough. Now you have a black qb that understands NFL Language and they want to bring him down because of a pro day. From what I heard, Johnny Football and Brotles pro days were not great either and they are steady climbing up the board, while Bridgewater is moving down the ladder. Now what do you call that?

Last time I checked, the draft hasn't happened yet. Why are you so hyped over this? Last year a black QB was the first QB taken in the draft.

This a good example why I wouldn't want Manziel. When Auburn stopped that running BS he couldn't make plays from the pocket and he had ALL day to throw the ball.
