Teddy Bridgewater is falling, and there's no real reason why

Bridgewater is not 6'5" but he doesn't rely on his feet to make plays like Manziel does; therefore, I think Bridgewater may take less big hits than Manziel. What does having the better COLLEGE career have to do with playing in the NFL? I beg to differ that Manziel had the better career.

This doesn't translate to the NFL.

Dude Manziel can throw the football in the pocket accurately. Plus he has a much stronger arm than Bridgewater. The fact is we will have to wait and see. I'm a fan of both but I'm just being honest.

You don't think the NFL scouts have watched every bit of game tape that they could of him? I am pretty sure it wasn't just his pro day that has them second-guessing him.

Go back and read the article. The scouts and coaches are second guessing Bridgewater for reasons other than his QB skills. Small hands & playing with gloves are the excuses used to hide their real concerns...he's doesn't have a traditional leadership personality...but no scout/GM/coach wants to come out and say this out of fear of people "playing the race card" as they like to say.

Many other former scouts have come out and said Bridgewater is being over-analyzed and nitpicked..and his so-called "shortcomings" aren't consistent with what is typically a shortcoming by other QBs.

Can Manziel really beat you from the pocket? Do you have proof or can he complete a pass from the pocket. You do know there is a difference.

Another thing to keep in mind...the month and a half leading up to the draft is smokescreen season, especially in a draft like this where the potential difference makers may not go 1 & 2.

The teams picking from 3-15 will lie like hell in the media hoping teams picking ahead of them will pass on the guy they want.

Manziel's team needed him to win the SEC and he couldn't do that. The stats are similar, but Bridgewater's best receiver may be a third round pick, with no o-linemen or running backs being drafted. Can you say that about Manziel?

The SEC is very tough to win for anyone, ask AJ McCarron. You're asking him to beat LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, and Missouri with little support from his defense. Even with a good defense that would have been tough to do.

Why does it matter? He is still going to get drafted and have a chance to prove them wrong. Ya'll acting like the dude isn't going to get drafted at all.

I agree it is tough to win in the SEC. People act like Manziel is this great QB who didn't lose games in the SEC. Wow I didn't know Texas A&M was 4 - 4 in the SEC last year. The only SEC teams they beat this year were Arkansas, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State with their biggest road conference win over Ole Miss (Child Please).

Out of conference wins were over Schools like Rice, Sam Houston State, SMU, and UTEP.

Here is what I want y'all to do for me.

Yep that's all I'm saying.

So it is no problem that the attributes that white QB's are being praised for don't work the same for Bridgewater. The pro day was just the thing they needed to drop him in their mock draft. If Johnny Football was black, would he get the same praise he is getting?

That Aggies defense was horrible last year. They were getting rolled up by the likes of Rice and Duke.

Dude the race card does not apply here man. Just about all of the ratings had Bridgewater #1 at QB until the horrible combine and pro day.

Dude a lot of those games were won on the backs of A&M's offense. You do realize that they had no defense and Manziel had to put the team on his shoulders game after game? In the SEC......No matter how you spin it that alone is impressive. One can easily argue that without Manziel A&M wouldn't have won half the games on their schedule last year.

They must have missed that bowl game against Duke where Manziel pretty much single-handedly won that game for them. Didn't they have to score like 50 points to win? Now he did struggle putting points on the board against LSU and Missouri but that's what happens when you have limited options on offense going against 2 stout defenses. Those were the only 2 games of the season where TAMU didn't score at least 40 points.

They lost to Alabama 49-42 and to Auburn 45-41. He threw for 918 yards, 9 TDs, and 4 ints in those 2 games.

Texas A&M's defense won the bowl game in the 4th quarter. The CB for A&M intercepted a Duke pass for the winning TD. The the defense of A&M got another stop or turn over to seal the victory for A&M. Stop trying to give Manziel all the credit.

Number 1 and Psycho Jag,

I am shocked ya'll are entertaining this foolishness!

The fact is that Teddy Bridgewater, (a good college QB), looked like sh_t at the pro day and had scouts second guess their overhyped draft predictions. Johnny Football, (who won the F'n Heisman Trophy as a RS- Freshman in the best conference in college football), was reduced to a lower draft prediction due to his reputation as a "Bad _SS" or "Rebel" who makes his own rules. In his pro day, he shined like he has done so many times in his career. Both kids will go to the NFL and get their chance to show if they are ready. I don't want to come down too hard on Teddy because I really like him as a QB, but there is no way he should get drafted over Johnny Football. I can't believe that people are pulling the race card after everyone had American Conference QB Teddy Bridgewater in front of a white Heisman Trophy winner from the SEC in their mock draft! That's not normal at all! It seems to me that if race was a factor, Teddy wouldn't have gotten that edge on Johnny. It's not anyone's fault but his that he looked horrible at his pro day. Race is not a factor here. Anyone who believes it is just wants to take the excuse lane.

Nice try, the Alabama game wasn't that close. Bama was up by 21 points at the start of the 4th quarter. Bama was up by 14 points with :40 remaining in the game. A&M scored their last TD with :15 remaining in the game. A&M was at home and the game wasn't as close as the scoreboard indicated, nice try.

Damn, y'all really love the SEC that much to exalt John Football like that?

Oh BTW, Russ Wilson played in the ACC and Big 10 ...
Ben Roethlisberger played in the MAC
Tony Romo played in the Ohio Valley Conference
Colin Kaepernick played in the WAC

... point being, conference affiliation DOESN'T HAVE A THING to do with quarterback prowess. Y'all seriously need to stop caping up for the SEC like that

Bridgewater basically has the same type of numbers that he had his SR. year

I have to say dropping as far as they say he will because of one bad showing is suspect. Anyway he'll be worth giving a shot to replace Drew.

What does winning a Heisman Trophy has to do with being a good NFL QB? Not a d@mn thang. Can you come with something to prove your point. The last time I checked Brady, Manning (both of them), Wilson, Kapernick, Breese, Luck, or Rodgers didn't win a Heisman. Y'all are making this to easy for me LOL.
