You are a military man, you have a post graduate degree, and I believe you work in corporate America so I know you can follow me when I tell you this. You are probably still going to be in denial but so be it....

You are being willfully ignorant and you are playing with words just to tow the company line.

You say "SU APR is not an ISSUE" its just a data problem. But the data you are providing is APR numbers. You dont feel like you have an academic issue, but the last time I checked the "A" in APR stands for academics. So what you are saying makes no sense to normal people. You say the numbers are from 7 years ago, but the point is if you hadnt lied about whatever you turned into the NCAA you would not have gotten off probation in 2012.


You cant say, we didnt keep records and then say we turned in what we had and then say we are gathering information to send to the NCAA. Which one is it man? Either you have the information or you dont. Its your ADs job to know whether you have the infomation. Your ADs first job is t o make sure you are compliant with the governing body. Your AD shouldve known the NCAA was coming for that information. If he had self reported instead of lying about the data, you might not be sitting on pins and needles right now. I hope it works out for you. If not youll be looking to make more excuses for your incompetent AD.

But then again the SWAC has given up on any academic standards, so an academic ineligible school like SU is still in good shape. Good for yall

When JSU got in APR trouble we hired an APR expert as AD. She used her experience and skills to obtain a grant that helped us get to where we are today.... 100% clear of APR issues.

Let me put this in terms you would use. "We is reading books in Jackson, tryna act white."

SU on the other hand didnt hire an expert or someone qualified for the job. You turned down the APR expert, and re-opened the AD search until you found a guy with no experience and no proven qualities to manage a D1 program. Turns out it was so pitiful the NCAA not only banned SU basketball, they banned EVERYTHING. 0% of your sports are clear of APR issues. Oh well, at least your AD is lightskinneded.

Dude the data being provided is from Pete and Spivery's time. The NCAA has no problem with data provided after them folks were gone that represents the last 4-5 years. How can't you see that? The data in question is old. For the last time we got off probation because the current APR was good. The decision to suspend our teams is bull because those kids have adequate grades and data. The data was never there from way back because it was never kept up lead by your main man's puppet. Instead of selling our home game to you mofos and not having compliance folks on staff. He should have been making sure his staff was in place. You obviously did not read the report or not see on the NCAA site that SU APR is not an issue. LaFluer promised them data he didn't have and basically never got back with them on it. They audit the old data and didn't like it. Hell that old data had us on APR probation anyway. Why the NCAA is even caring about kids who ain't been at SU since Before 2010. They are hypocrites bottom line. They see the ship is righted but want to keep worrying about 2006 time frame. Smh. Fugg them mofos.
And get off your Academic high horse. The kids at SWAC schools who want to be educated get educated. You can talk all the crap you want. But even with stuff in place at JSU. You get a bad group of student athletes who say Fugg class. What you going to do? Put a gun to their head? JSU's not at that point, so it's irrelevant to even bring it up. Fact of the matter is that su's ENTIRE athletic program is currently in violation of NCAA standards.
Now suddenly you're crying "fugg them" cause su's being rewarded for the seed it planted years ago regardless.
su planted the seeds, now the seeds have grown into academic weeds.
Seems to me that su's AD is in over his head right now and doesn't know how to handle this delicate situation. He HAS to be biting his nails off wondering what decision the NCAA will make in the coming weeks.

If you are guilty of failing APR sanctions one year I can see the conference waiving the ban IF you agree to some stipulations and improve the next year. But some of these schools are bad year after year after year and to the SWAC, that's okay. There is nothing remotely right about that. Last year for the bball tourney.. okay.. let the teams compete but AT LEAST tell them that if their scores don't improve next year, they will be sitting at home. As it stands, the SWAC is doing nothing to assist with APR.

This rule may not have never come up if they wouldn't have waived it for the swac last year. Conferences could have begun to ask for waivers to pick their auto-bid schools the same way but for not the same reason.

Dude, again. There is nothing ANY AD can do if the previous AD did not do their job. What could Viv do in SU's situation? Forge paperwork to make it look like it was good from 7 years ago? How can Broussard be over his head when he gave the NCAA what he could find. Ain't his fault that nothing he found from years ago is good enough. What should he do Jay rob? Tell me what Alabama's AD or Ohio State's AD would do if they had walked into SU's AD job with that on the table? Broussard has fixed all the compliance staff issues that plagued the past regime. He has done everything to ensure none of that happens again. And UNDER HIS WATCH APR is HAS BEEN FINE. You arse holes and I am calling you and GR arse holes don't want to see the real deal. Fact of the matter is Broussard couldn't get it done. He said su would be fine; you said su would be fine; Jag-BR said su would be fine; sujagtildead said su would be fine and two months later, you're not fine....not by a longshot.

Dude, you are being foolish again. Broussard told SU folks what the NCAA told him. What else was he supposed to do? Come out and say to the public we gone get fugged over? The NCAA never gave him any indication of that. The NCAA would have looked at him crazy. Another thing, you do realize when he took the job, the NCAA had not asked for anything else from what the past AD sent in. They did an audit and decided they didn't like it after the fact. So the initial NCAA folks took what LaFluer or whomever he had send in stuff and said we good way back then. If we need something else we will ask. In the meantime the past AD told the SU Board. All is well with the NCAA. After that he got fired. You guys deserve the cruel language. Actually I am being nice. You 2 are playing dumb(stretching it) by trying to blame this on Broussard just because he is young and you think he ain't doing a good job. Although multiple publications have said he is doing well. We can see what he has done. You only focus on something that NO AD can fix in the country without bribery.
