UAPB @ Alcorn State U - (ESPNU TV) 6:30 pm (Braves, get in your damn mentality that you still are in the SWAC race and that you need to bring the SAME EMOTION YOU SHOW AT HOMECOMING AND JSU WEEK IN AND WEEK OUT. There is no excuse for you to lose the rest of your games. Believe it or not, We are still in control of our own destiny. Lose this game, and our destiny goes out of our hands. [Capital City Classic should mean something this year])
Games - Saturday - October 23, 2010
Jackson State U @ Texas Southern U (Hall of Fame Game) - 12 pm (Tough One, the Alcornite in me says TSU and game film says TSU but quite frankly some games are won based upon what is not on film. A TSU victory would greatly help us out at Alcorn, but we here at Alcorn should have the mentality that we don't want anyone's help to get to Birmingham. JSU however should realize that you celebrate victories for one night but come Sunday, it is time to get ready for the next week. [Capital City Classic should mean something this year)
Savannah State U @ Alabama State U - 1 pm (Don't know much about Savannah State, so sticking with the SWAC.
Grambling State @ MVSU - 2 pm
Southern U@ PVAMU - (Shreveport, La Classic) (Another tough one to pick. PV might regret moving this home game to Shreveport and SU putting 45 on JSU but then again, this is why games are played on the field. Game Film 99.9% of the time, doesn't lie though. If Stump decides to spread the field with Trips rollouts and Spread, PV will be in trouble. My question for SU is: If Holliman struggles, will Stump take him out or stick with him? 4 pm
