MVSU vs. Murray – 4:00pm CT (Valley is getting there. No SWAC team should go into ANY SWAC GAME this season undermining another team)
Alcorn St @ Univ. of Ark PB – 6:00pm CT (Braves, Pine Bluff has been a trap game for us as of late. Hopefully, by finally playing them on a SATURDAY, we can play our game of football. Like I have stated, Offense, blow the game open from the start. Since PB has a new QB, do like we did DJ but this time, DISGUISE the blitzes. Every game this season is big game for us Alcorn. This is a big game for us. We lost a big game last week against Grambling. Lose this one, and we can pretty much kiss Birmingham good-bye. Win it and we become that must closer to going to Birmingham. But, BH123 WILL NOT except this shat of playing one half of football while taking the other half off. Pine Bluff went up on us 21-0 last year before we finally woke up. This year, it better be Alcorn up 21-0 and our foot better be on the gas pedal for FOUR QUARTERS.)
Alabama A&M @ Southern U. – 6:00pm CT (Jags are playing at home. The Bulldogs are coming off an heartbreaking loss. In a Coaching matchup of Jones vs. Stump, I'll take Jones)
Jackson St. @ Tn State U. (So. Heritage Classic, Memphis, TN) – 6:00pm CT (As good of a player as Terriahult is, No surperb passing QB does well when they are forced to constantly scramble before letting the football fly. In offense like the Air Raid, TIMING IS EVERYTHING. Timing affects throws, completions, etc. Usually, the QB must be relaxed in the pocket for it to work. Add in the fact that the running game is basically non-existent, and then you have a Superstar QB throwing more than his Head Coach would like for him to. I'm going to pick JSU in this one, but if TN State decides to blitz insane on JSU's OL, they could slow down that offense and sneak in a victory. The key will be can JSU score early and often or will the TN State Defense slow them down enough for the TN State Offense to establish the running game.
