SWAC vs. the BIG 3

We've already beaten all of you, no one gets at the Transformers like Alcorn.
Even with all the support from the state lil ole Alcorn still has more National titles, more SCG wins, and more Basketball chips than Jackson State.

We're cut from a different cloth.
Man!! I didn't know that!

the big 3 doesn't apply to A&M since we joined the conference in 1999.

SU & Grambling have more than 1 scg title.

JSU has 1 scg title & A&M has 1 scg title
.

The Big 3 is not just about football although that is how GSU got in.. LOL

Its about name recognition, bands, fan base, and everything that the the smalltime schools don't have....

To be honest, I think Grambling, Southern, and Jackson St. will always dominate the bottom tear schools. I think schools like Alcorn, Alabama St, Prairie View, and Texas Southern are doing a better job of competing in the SWAC. Although the big three continue to have winning records in the SWAC, they have only won three SWAC Championships in the past ten years. I think the days of only the big 3 winning championships maybe over.

You seen Texas Southern's records? They've only ever competed one year. What are you talking about? Lol. They may get more competitive soon but they're known losers as of now lol. Btw the big 3 have 5 championships in the last 10 years if you're adding them all up. They also have competed for 8 out of the last 10 SCGs which also shows you why they are the big 3.

who is lower tier?lol.. I know a&m has winning a record against the 4 schools you just mentioned ? Lol

Alcorn only has more scg titles with 2 now ..the other 3 have 1 just like us

Fallen? How of you of all schools comment about the word Fallen? Don't even mention the movie Fallen! Texas Southern? Fallen? Smh

I know Texas Southern's football ball team has not done jack, but look at the athletic department as a whole. Lately, Texas Southern has been very competitive in most sports. The only major sport TSU has not won the conference in is football and women's track.

Texas Southern has made a commitment to football like never before in the past. Coach Haywood has one of the best resumes of any first time head coach in the SWAC.

I have always believed TSU would win the SWAC if TSU could ever recruit the Houston/Texas. Coach Haywood has recruited Houston/Texas like no Texas Southern coach before him.

I stand corrected, the big 3 has won 5 in the last 10 years. Grambling has 4, Southern 1, and Jackson St. 0.

The Big 3 have won 2 championships in the last 5 years (Grambling, Southern). If it wasn't for Grambling the Big 3 wouldn't be relevant, right Jackson St?

So "smalltime" minded. Lol. Actually you stand corrected again dumb ass because JSU won a SWAC title in 07 which is within the 10 years you are trying to add in Texas Sorry who has done nothing. And how can JSU & SU not be relevant because of GSU? You do know the history of the Big 3 right? Maybe you should look that up so you wouldn't sound so stupid in your posts lol. GSU doesn't equal 3 schools. Right Texass Sorry?

Ok I hope yall prove that. Until then Texas Southern shouldn't speak down on Southern about our athletic program.

Thanks for correcting me Jay. The Big 3 have only won 4 championships in the last 10 years. GSU 2, SU 1, and JSU 1. In the last 5 years the Big 3 have only two championships, GSU and SU one each.

Jay, I never said anything about what TSU has won. My argument is, the big three is no longer as dominant as they use to be.
