Yea it did come off as if Mumford was Jammed packed EVERY WKND!
I dunno why they are even arguing about who filled what, when and how

Serious Reply:
JSU stands up top as far as attendance figures (even with some thousand bodies not counted lol).... and still nobody cares about our (swac) figures but us (swac) We are still @ the BOTTOM as a whole. I'm sure my JSU is stepping it up... and I'd like to see the rest of the swac step up also.
*stop arguing/worrying about what the NEXT school is doing and get more BOOTIES in your OWN seats

Silly Reply:
JSU could sellout a stadium the size of Mumford with JAMES BELL as HC! So whats the big deal?

Now lets hear for those "POCKETS" of GOLD one MORE TIME! :flippy:
No it didn't come off like nothing so talk what you know, and obviously I see you don't know nothing.

Texas Southern would love to have an on-campus staduium. However, there are a few reasons why we do not have one:

1) space- we are landlocked and the best we could do is convert Durley Complex (football field on-campus with bleachers) to a small staduim.

2) Residents surrounding the campus are opposed to a staduim

3) Funding for staduim

There have been talks to have a satellite campus located in north Houston and build a stadium there.

However, for the last two seasons we have played our games on campus except for the Labor Day Classic against PV. Playing games on campus has increased interest from students, alumni, and the community. In theses last two years tailgating has picked-up and game day atmosphere is festive.

If we can get our football program to win, our attendance would soar. There are so many people waiting to support a winning program.

I wonder if TSU keep good relations with this billionaire. http://www.camac.com/newsroom/240787_final.pdf

that guy has been approached from the front, back, side, etc. from TSU, PV and UH....that's the difference with us and them

we have one big donor everyone wants to stretch while them has 20 of them with 10 who love athletics

I'm not sure about this but when they do the average attendance of these games that does mean that some people home attendance can be skewed a bit by a couple of large games for example like a SU/JSU or Alcorn/JSU game in Veterans right when calculating for JSU? If that's the case and in which I'm not sure about this, wouldn't that be sort of a false impression of a schools game to game attendance figures? I often see in the paper or in the internet where the attendance at some of these games are relatively low, but at the the end of the season the average attendance seems to be a little high compared to what I see on a game to game basis.
