That was my point on the other thread.
All ESPN do is tape our games and them put them up against LIVE West coast games. Big whoop when ESPN and ESPNU scrolls the game score across the bottom. What sports fan is going to keep watching when they already know the outcome when there are live game on other stations.

I don't see what the hupla is about this mess. let me know when we get a true conference deal and are not just used as filler for empty air time. :smh:

As usual, folks finally got what they wanted. They hated BET and everything on BET. All they did was WISHED our games was not shown on BET.........The evil station that caused the decline of everything black. They talked down about the production, the announcers and everything associated with it.

I never had a problem with it. I got old JSU and SWAC games on VHS from back in the day that I watch from time to time. I watched JSU put a 58 point a-whipping on Alcorn in 1999 the other day. Then I watched Robert Kent dancing in red shades and red shoes on SU in the Dome from 2002. :lol:

I remember going to that game and then the TSPN crew went to an SU alums house later that night and they had the game playing on BET while we ate, drank and laughed at SU.

But unlike ya'll the last 5 years, we knew we had a crap leader destroying our team at that point and was not bragging about it. I got up out of my seat at the end of the 1st, went upstairs, parked my but by the Heineken Draft booth, and me and my frat "St. Augastine" drank beer for the next 3 qtrs, furnished by his home girl working the booth. She kept our cups full. :lol:

Yea all of jSU fans were gone before The Sonic Boom made it to their seats :lol: .

Yeah they were. I liked their vision. But they jumped in it too hard. Needed time to build up.

My most vivid memory from that game is when we threw an interception and one of SU's DB's cleaned one of our wideouts clock out, stood over him and did a sacrificial ritual. I think I rewinded that part on the game film about 20 times. It was sad :shame: Buddy just laid there.

The 04 game in New Orleans was shown on TV?
 
I remember in 2004 that Pete did not ride the team bus. He drove to the stadium in his own car I believe.
