A friend of mine just posted this on Facebook. Nice spot for the SWAC that will air during conference football, basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball telecasts on ESPNU.

They can take that World Class institutions schit outta there too. We all know that aint true. Aint that right Texas Southern?

Got Damn some of you all need to Shut The Hell Up, cry like little girls about every damn thing...So ESPN and the SWAC didn't want to use the faces of killers, robbers, drug dealer and users in this PSA the point of it is to uplift the conference but there are you usuals selfish schools on here that think's it always have to be about you:shame:

I love the commercial.

However, to be fair to GR and the JSU contingent, Casey probably should have been in the spot. He's the best QB by far in the conference and his story, along with his play, did garner national attention. If the conference could use old highlights of Walter Payton, Jerry Rice and Steve McNair, then it should be no problem for them to feature the most intriguing athlete in the league.

I can't think of many conferences that would place that dude at the forefront of a marketing effort considering his "story".

Exactly, that would make viewers inquire who is this "blonde haired" kid playing in the SWAC. Then when they google him and find out what happened to get him to the SWAC we really in trouble. :scared:

Thanks ESPNU and Sharpe for NOT putting him as the "face" of the SWAC. I do think they should have put Bridge on there.

Chu'ch

Again this is a case of black folks thinking like a *****.

Black people with no vision and no marketing skills think like the DCG chick. You have no idea how to market a conference and get people interested in what you have to offer. So the only kid up for a national award is not featured or mentioned in your primetime avertisment? Really?

Do you think for one minute that The Pac 12 would do a commericial that didnt feature A Luck, Big 12-Landry, SEC-RB fron Bama or SC, Mnt West- Kellen Moore.

But our dumb asses think that if we feature the only kid worth a damn, it hurts the other schools.

Now do you see why its time for JSU to move on from the SWAC...a concept whose time is up?

Everyone likes a redemption story, especially if that cat is white. Just ask Josh Hamilton. The Texas Rangers and MLB didn't shy away from marketing that guy even though years earlier he was basically a crack head before getting a second chance with the Reds a few years ago.

I mean, its not like Casey is some habitual criminal or something. Ray Lewis was involved in a murder trial, and few years later was on a Wheaties box and now is doing all sorts of commercials as the face of the Baltimore Ravens.

You mean to tell me that it would hurt the SWAC to show one two second clip of Casey in action? I don't buy it.

Tabernacle...

And it's not surprising where the only complaints are coming from... :shame:

Hey, they didn't even show Doug and he is probably the most recognizable face of the entire conference at the moment.

All JSU had to do was bring him to the SWAC football Media Day... That is when that piece was produced... Mountains/Mole Hills.... Be glad they produced SOMETHING!
