I don't know J, it's looking more and more like that foot of your is coming up off the floor, hope you have stretched first...l'm just saying:ebrow:

Well since history is his thing, the last time PV lost to an Eastern opponent before Bama St. was November 11, 2006...I'm just sayin'...

See you proved his point ONE victory made the power shift to the east :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Why do PV folks on here beg:whine: for respect so much???:lecture:

Why do jsue folks always think the swac evolves around what they do?

:retard: It was too early last week when you made that ridiculous ass statement in the first place.

They do that all the time......

Not speaking for PV but I can think of one particular JSU poster that makes Keith Sweat say "Dude STFU!".

It's more that 1 particular one.....

Proves your point? The east hasn't won the SWAC since 2007 and has a whopping 3 wins against the west this year, and they ALL came from Alabama...Makes me wonder what your point really is.

That speaks volume when a mid-level team in the East has already won three games against the West. Thanks again.
But it's still kind of early. Time will tell after JSU and Alcorn gets their feet wet in the West.

JSU's feet are already wet, unless that 28-21 loss to Grambling was a figment of my imagination.

That's just one game and the best team in the West at that. That means we should go undefeated in the West the rest of the way.....seriously.

Ok wait a minute...I'm gonna use your logic for a second...The balance of power is shifting to the EAST, meaning the EAST (top to bottom) is stronger than the WEST, yet the EAST's "top" team, can't beat the WEST's "TOP" team....:retard:

BTW, did you know that THIS season, the west is 5-3 against the east? If anything, Bama St. is the cream of the crop in the East so far...

So magically, that game doesn't count?...:retard:...OK...well, then ASU's win over PV doesn't count either...it was JUST one game, and if it hadn't been for that last second FG, we coulda beat them in overtime....

How is Bama St. the cream of the crop in the East when we just left Montgomery with a win and all the women? :D

Grambling beat our azz but I doubt seriously that they would beat us in Bham. It's hard to beat a good team twice...and JSU is a good team. If we see them in Bham, JSU is gonna take it. They beat our azz in 2007 too but the refs had to help them keep a respectable score when they saw us again in Bham!

BAMA State was over-rated to begin with. That lucky win in Texas was a true fluke. AlaState struggles to get 150 offensive yards per game. JSU and Alcorn are the teams to beat in the EAST and I doubt Alcorn can hang with us.

I'm just saying...Using the logic presented in this thread, they have the most wins against the west this season (2-1)....wait...subtract the win over PV...it was JUST 1 game, so it didn't count...If we woulda had an extra 6 minutes on the clock, we coulda drove back down the field and beat em...

How is that, when NEITHER of you has beaten ANYBODY of note???

Appreciate the admiration, but we've only played 1 Western Division foe...the other three will be tough, winnable but tough. (Trying to keep this non-smack). What you have to remember is that all of our Western Division games this year will be away from Robinson Stadium (where the current staff is undefeated). However, we do play the remaining East Conference opponents (sans Valley) at The Rob.

Warning...Don't sleep on TxSU, PV, or UAPB

Dude, the real reason yall won in B'ham is the mindset of the players from B'way interviewing with Duke during the time prior to the game. I'm sure if given the chance, he would do that differently. The very next season we doubled down on yall with a new cast of Offensive unknowns!

No smack, but I don't really think Alabama State was or is over-rated. I mean, like him or not, Coach Melvin Spears is damn good at what he does, and as long as he's anywhere near a football field, he'll score. A 3-0 start is not over-rated........it's just damn good f/ball playing. That's my opinion.

Also, I wouldn't count out Alcorn. :D

I knew I could count on you!:kiss::heart:

The Golden Lions are certainly not  on any of our remaining opponents. Hopefully, we'll play like our lives are at stake. I was so nervous down in Baton Rouge this weekend...........thankfully my boys were able to pull it off. :) As I was floating on cloud nine, I crashed back to earth when I remembered, "Damn, it's Prairie View this Thursday!" AND we haven't played Grambling either! *sigh* Back to reality!

Maybe not Alcorn but for Alcorn, they have made scrubs look like scrubs...that is what good teams do. JSU on the other hand has beat two teams that would beat at least 7 SWAC teams....at least. Those being Delta State and TNState.

MB,

That is the lamest thing I ever heard come out of your mouth. JSU simply played a better game. On top of that, we played you with two totally different defenses in those game. I think we ran a 3-4 in the loss to you but in the second game, we played our normal defense and more zone. Your QB could not handle that. What did Broadway and his trying to get the hell out of the woods have to do with Yoshida getting his azz kicked? Truth be told, Yoshida is not known for pass defense and that is why ya'll gonna lose when we see you again!
