They should have done $5.

My goal in a few years is for my company to start doing NIL deals.
Probably testing the waters first. Ticket prices went up 20 dollars this year so I guess they not trying to alienate more folks just yet.

Shidd got to get one first we dealing negrows from the Stone Age. They think NIL is unlimited gumbo from Piccadilly.
You might have to get the ball rolling yourself. I think only a couple schools have them so far in the Swac

I'm all for nil ,but I didn't expect a damn collection plate to be passed around to fans. P5 / FBS Coaches, fans & administrators have issues with this too & the revolving door of players. I'm interested, but I have a lot of questions.

On our level it ain't having much impact honestly so you gotta be smart to see how it's used - as soon as a kid gets good or has a good year their gone even if someone is offering a substantial amount and that's even at the highest levels so loyalty means nothing -

so what are we really giving them NIL for? Basically it's a one year buffer

PV lost a QB to McNeese allegedly for NIL and the coach got canned this year with a NIL funded QB - you think some folks want to take money out of their family's mouth for these kids and you still get bad results?

We don't have that type of disposable income so we're just keeping their seats warm

You articulated my opinion better than I could. That was McNeese State's QB 6th school & he committed to about 9 altogether. Seems like this also can hurt traditional donations to the Athletic Dept & school trying to pay kids who are full free agents every semester.

Continue to get left behind

The impact can already be seen

And yes every player you bring in should be looked at as one year rentals. It's a new day

As far as I know North Carolina Central and/or Elizabeth State don't have a collective. At this point I just give to the schools and if they have specific fund, I give to that. While I like football, I am starting to question if making donations would make more of difference by giving to another sport that has smaller size roster.

If my $10k can help the program as a whole get better than a rental kid I rather that - if my team doesn't win money wasted but if the program wins a cup and gets a cash reward from it then I rather that satisfaction

my $10k spread out can help multiple programs

We ain't the SEC and never will be - paying these disloyal kids is a waste on our level cause someone has more

That's bottom dweller mentality. Good luck

That's financial responsibility - y'all just got taxed to fund these kids - same kid you brought in last year already gone - I rather legit facilities and nutrition money, etc

Let's be honest - swac been had NIL in the past as theres a reason some of these HOF played at our schools - but again - we lost them to others and then fell behind in the everyday resource battle - the portal giveth and taketh

We brought in over 50 kids last year and I can assure you 80% of em still here lol..so you have no clue about what you're talking about.

Continue to get left behind. I'm not here to convince you of doing anything. Lol

The impact ones are gone - your offering NIL great but everyone is offering some sort - but who are you competing against at the end of the day when it gets out of hand when our programs need the basics and other facility upgrades before we can go all in on NIL - if someone wants them they'll get them -

How you gone tell me who's gone 😆 🤣. You don't know our roster nor know who we got on NIL. As I stated earlier, 80% of those kids are still here.

That's the fault with you bottom dwellers. Absolutely no vision and short sighted. Contributing to your school's collective doesn't stop your programs from getting the basics and or facility upgrades. You can still do BOTH 😆.

Continue to fall behind into obscurity.
