We won't be under the radar long. There is too much going on this year for UAPB to be in the mix right now. I have always said that you had the best DC in the SWAC...now what happened to your defense last year, I don't know...lol All you needed was some offense to win some games. If your new OC works out, you will be okay.
However, the focus right now is on whether PV can win it all again, if Gram can bounce back, if Stump can bring Jags program back, if TxSO can continue to improve, and if will Comegy rebound. AAMU is getting some love but they are not really a team of interest. Most expect them to remain average and hope to come out of the pack if a better team does not emerge. UAPB, Valley, Alabama State, and Alcorn are all under the radar right now. The only interest at AlaState is if Spears can make an impact. There is just no real interesting story on Alcorn, Valley, AAMU, or UAPB.
Other than j-stank alums TP, who cares if Big Butt Bookman rebounds or not? On the other hand ALCORN[/COLOR] has an interesting story with a second year coach and a hell of a recruiting class.
Nobodys knocking PV. They were champions last season. Just cant see them winning this season. Gram was by far the most talented team SU faced last season. PV might come in 4th or 5th in the West this season.

You're speaking w/ quite a few folx who cannot spell "football" correctly yet alone attempt to understand the actual game from coaching to executing.
I'm not wasting keystrokes explaining nada to them anymore. Our squad and coaching will do the explaining after they take the "L." lol They said this same silly shit last year as well============> :retard: TSPN needs "NoPass-NoType." lol
LOL at the 38 second mark where Stump Mitchell is labelled as Grambling's coach. No respect at all. Hahahahahahahaha!!!!

SOrry dude but he benefitted last year because he didn't face ONE opponent with a passing attack. If Nelson can pass the ball, PV is going down in week 1. Northern can't stop the pass.
Didn't stop our passing game... we had some drops and a td called back on a questionable Off Pass Interference. Heish is a good coach, but his scheme was open over the middle and Dillon exploited it for 300 plus passing yards, despite the dropped passes.
And you still struggled to beat one of our worst offenses since james b#ll by only 8 points at your place. It's highly unlikely that you'll beat JSU at home without a runningback like Banks. You know I'm right, but I know you'll still make excuses.
By the way, JSU has always kept your runningbacks in check, except for last year when we had no offense to give our defense a chance to rest, allowing Banks to have a decent game. Like I said, no Banks, no running game.
I know one coach who had better exploit that passing game after my church's communion services in September.![]()

Grambling set to climb back to top of SWAC
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — As Greek mythology goes, Sisyphus was punished by the gods and condemned to an eternity of pushing a boulder up a hill only to watch it roll down the other side.
There's no boulder near Eddie Robinson Stadium in Grambling, but there is a hill. And as a self-inflicted punishment for their disappointing-to-them 2009 season, the Tigers condemned themselves to an offseason of running up and down the steep grade — part penance and part preparation.
"We're here to work harder," said junior linebacker Cliff Exama at the SWAC Media Day here on Tuesday. "I don't think anyone in the SWAC has a hill like we have. It's real steep and it's real high.
