But in all reality, we all know PV will be the SWAC West rep this fall and we'll be playing in the SCG. Put it in 3 inch letters on the front page of the Dallas Morning News and the New York Times. :tup:

Don't Valley, Jackson State, and Alcorn have a joint SWAC kickoff party tonight July 18th at the Jackson Medical Mall?

I think it start's at 5:30pm.
Who going cause ya'll know it's going to be packed.

What will TOTTEN's use as his "Fire them up" catch phrase this season?
Will the new guy at ALCORN ever shut up about beating JSU?

Speaking of media day I think it would be a great idea if each school could have their own fan convention. It could be a good way for fans and alumni to meet the athletes coaches and athletic brass all at one time instead of focusing on one or two teams. There could be opportunities for auctions fundraisers autograph signings and roundtable discussions with coaches and players. The event could take place shortly before school starts. It could be a one or two day event supported by vendors and sponsors. You could have musical acts, radio stations there games for kids and even adults. And of course there will be a fee to attend. But it would be a tremendous opportunity for the school and fans to bond.

A&M stopped the Cole brothers from going to the SCG their first year in the SWAC, but they won't be able to stop them this time.

You heard it here first, Texas Southern 2008 SWAC Champs.

Side Note: Just because I'm pickin' A&M to go to the SCG, that don't mean I'm pickin' 'em to win the Magic City Classic.

The Hornets will take that one.

G-Man75's post simply explains that he really doesn't keep up with JSU because he obviously doesn't know that JSU didn't schedule PV for certain reason lol! His game picks are just games that he feels will be on the competitive side! WoW! To say that some of you graduated from college is sad! JSU peeps have no sense of logic or common sense: JSU sugar coating at it's finest lol!

Man, it's hard to get much info from Broadway... "We'll we should be pretty good...we have a chance to be a pretty good football team" is usually all he's gonna give up. Definitely "ol' school" coach speak.

MAC, you all are on another level. It amazes me how AlaSU is so far ahead of the SWAC in it's mastery of marrying the internet/videographic capabilities to it's sports programmes. :bowdown: Good job man. :tup:

The SWAC has some great football HCs in Frazier, JCole, Broadway, Richardson, Comegy, AJones, and Barlow. :tup: Can't comment on the other first year and unproven guys @ UAPB/AlcSU and I can't quite figure Totten and staff out. lol
