To be honest, I didn't have enough time to interview Coach Dooley and the Jags. I spoke to him briefly, but time just got away from me.

But my colleagues in Baton Rouge provided this story on Dooley and the Jags.

Jags picked to win SWAC West

The Southern Jaguars, led by new head coach Eric Dooley were picked to win the SWAC West during the SWAC Media Day in Birmingham, Ala. on Thursday, July 21.

But he grew up in Houston and was one of the chosen few A&M throws money at to "diversify" and the rest is history but A&M will never accept him truly as their own since he touches on issues they are uncomfortable with

So he does what most PWC grads do when that wall is built By their fellow alums - they try to hang out with us seeing we may accept them to keep a foot in the door
