Swac golf champs 2010

Stop kissing C-LeB's ass tomcat1. :| Hell, C-LeB sending congrats today and he'll follow that up w/ a U-Haul for your coach who just won later so the move to Houston will be e-z. lol

Congrats JState. Y'all have a powerhouse in golf....

Just wondering...but, is this a result of being a true "powerhouse", or is that status predicated off of weak competiton? I haven't watched a lick of SWAC golf..but, errah...it's SWAC golf....:retard: I have to ask this if folks are getting beat by 45 strokes...:retard:

You need to stop being a lightskinned hater. JSU's players have played and placed against teams from the SEC, ACC, THe Sunbelt and othe conferences. When you say weak swac golf, you are saying that our brothers and sisters can't play. Let me give you facts. JSU, Alabama St and TXSO golf players aren't weak. Look at their schedule, they have competed and faired well against pwcs in golf. Alabama St has one of the best players in the country. DON'T PUT OUR STUDENTS DOWN, CLOWN.

...first off, stop being so fugg'n sensitive, sit down somewhere and read ALL of the question. I guess you skipped right over...
Just wondering...
...huh? Notice that I gave two possible options as answers...
is this a result of being a true "powerhouse", OR is that status predicated off of weak competiton?
You could've answer "JSt is just a powerhouse" and pressed on. Ain't nobody say anyone was weak...that question mark should've clued you in on that.

No one's puting anyone down...but, you don't think beating everyone else by 45 strokes won't raise questions? Man, GTFOH. That's not downing anyone...that's asking legitimate questions about the level of competition. And, competing with PWC's (which is vague as he!!) ain't say'n isht at all, so keep that BS.

Dude, over the years Ive known some TSU and SU golfers and I know SWAC golf ain't been nowhere close to PGA play, collectively. So, again..no one's trying to put anyone down..cuz, again, Im "Just wondering".

Sheesh...I guess you saw this ==><== and just decided to tighten up your sports bra for battle, huh?

Left out one.
JSU swept SU in baseball this past weekend.

It took 9 replies for this to turn into a JSU hate thread.
maybe if some other school could win something JSU folks could do the same

FYI...JSU golf results...

http://golfstatresults.com//public/leaderboards/team/static/team1859.html

Shot +69 for round one, 60 shots back of lead.

What's wild is the women's east regional where NINE teams shot under par. No under par rounds (as a team) at any other of the two tournaments...

:topic: Dude, are you a racist or what? It's your prerogative to be such, but I'm just curious.
You're the only White person that I know of who frequents this site on a regular basis, but ironically 99.9 percent of your posts are almost ALWAYS something negative about anything SWAC related. Is that a coincidence or what?
You really need to look in the mirror and honestly ask yourself that question.....seriously. You got serious issues dude, serious issues you may not be aware of.

I never said a single thing negative in this thread...what was negative?

My first post stated JSU was in regional XYZ and giving a list of those teams participating in said regional, my second post provided results.

There were no comments, just stated that JSU shot ABC and were fill-in-the-blank behind the leader. The only comment made was how one regional was a "track race" with most of the top 10 under par while the other two regionals had not one single school under par.

I'm sorry - I follow NCAA championships. If you want to stop following your squad after the SWAC championships, that's fine. Was just updating you all on where they stand, nothing more - nothing less.

Are you insecure about your squad and that information getting out? Want me to inform the JSU and SWAC web sites to not post the information? You surely are acting like you do not want it here, since nno one else had posted an update. There was not one single comment from me negative or positive about JSU's participation.

I'll do the same for the SWAC teams in men's golf and the two NCAA tennis championships, if no one else posts results. May even contribute in baseball and softball, though you guys typically follow those sports more than the golf, tennis and soccers of the world.

I don't think this has nothing to do with race - no one else let us know the scores. 60 shots off the lead is shameful.

OK.
Since someone yelled race,, check this out.

Is this the "White Tiger Woods"? :D
Dude, as a 6th grader last year, lost the Prep Title in a 3 way playoff.
This year as a 7th grader, he won the title shooting a Even Par72.
Jackson State is probably recruiting him now. :goof::lol::D

GOLF......Jackson Prep, PCS 7th-grader take top honors in PREP 3A

Davis Riley has been a teenager for less than five months, but he's far from a newcomer among the elite players in Mississippi high school golf.

Riley shot an even-par 72 on Wednesday at the Country Club of Jackson to win medalist honors in the Academy AAA championship. Last May, Riley - then a 12-year-old sixth-grader at Presbyterian Christian - lost in a three-way playoff for first place at Academy Overall.

"When I first came to PCS two years ago, Davis was in fifth grade and people were telling me how good he was," PCS headmaster and golf coach Allen Smithers said. "Now he hits the ball about 30 yards farther than he did in sixth grade. We took a picture of him last year after we won the Overall title and I'm looking over his head. We're eye to eye this year

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. I wasn't referring merely to golf scores. I'm referring to 99.9 percent of his posts.

Since I've been posting on TSPNsports, this dude almost never has anything positive to say about the SWAC. His posts has to do with the shortcomings of the SWAC, but when we make accomplishments, he's suddenly AWOL.
He knows exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to the overall picture. If he's not, then he sure is a darn good actor.

Yeah, play dumb. You know exactly what I'm talking about in the overall scheme of things. Anyhow, carry on. It's your prerogative.

Hey Jay Rob....Ask TT why he didn't give any comments on the jsu vs. Moo state baseball thread......

I agree with this and to add more to your statement, he does say "occasional" positive stuff but a backhand slap is always included. It does seems he only searches for shortcomings

If any of my kids were golfers, J-State would be their only college option.

Good job, Tigers!!

Nothing negative in this thread, just information sharing.

You are talking about a composite of work. I'm talking about this one thread. Funny how in a thread that I do not say anything that can be perceived, that you bring up all the other information, opinion that I bring up elsewhere.

JSU at +139 after two rounds, USC at +27 and in the lead.

http://golfstatresults.com//public/leaderboards/team/static/team1859.html

USC's +27 would be T-19th if they were in that 'track race' at the other regional. Must be pristine conditions at the other regional or just the best golf teams in the nation?

http://www.golfstatresults.com//public/leaderboards/team/static/team1845.html

Question - any reason why you do not post information about your school's postseason play and have to rely on someone that is not even in the SWAC to post about it? Does it not matter that JSU is representing the SWAC in women's golf? Is NCAA play even important to you as a fan?
