People in the DMW has there been a SWAC get together for any events in the area? If not would any of you like to plan maybe get together at one of the Sports Bars in D.C. and check out a SWAC game on T.V.? Just a suggestion! I know I'm busy most of the time, but I can make an exception! There are many SWACsters in the area. I can help coordinate, send emails out to GSU alums and some of the Alums from other SWAC institutions in the area that I know.

Which game would you all like to check out? These are the games for the Month of September.

(Sept. 13) Grambling plays Northwestern State (I don't know if we can catch this game here because it's on the Southland T.V. channel. I can check when I call around to the different sportsbars in D.C.)

(Sept.13) JSU vs TSU televised on Sportsouth.

(Sept. 18) UAPB vs Alcorn -Thursday night game on ESPNU starting at 6:30pm.

(Sept. 25) Valley at Alabama State - Thurday night game also on ESPNU stating at 7p.m.

I just contacted ESPN sportszone in D.C and as of right now the GSU vs NSU is not being televised there. I was told to call back maybe wednesday of next week to see if that game or the JSU vs TSU game would be televised there. They mainly only show games that are on ESPN, ESPNU.

The the ASU/UAPB game will be televised on ESPNU ,so we could check that game out at ESPN Sportszone if you all are interested.

You do know that the GSU/Alcorn game is supposed to be televised on ESPN Classic @ 10pm right?

All of you should come out this Saturday as the Big Blue from TSU get together with the Lynch Street Mob from J-State down at the Grand Slam Sports bar for the Southern Heritage Classic. We've been watching the game here for over 10 years now and the atmosphere is off the chain!!!

Come on down and talk some $#!+ with us. This game has been a thriller for the past few years and I don't expect anything different this year.

I'm going to plan to make it there! I will be in Baltimore most of the day Saturday, so I will see if I can make it there.

Good Luck, man we moved down to B league to get our mojo back. Last couple of spring seasons have been horrible, so we will see what we can do to regain that swagger and dedication to playing.

I'm glad we didn't play over the weekend because I still feel sore from that accident me and my teammate had in practice. That's what I get for trying to be Ronnie Lott with no shoulder pads on...:smh:

Haa!!! i can't say anything after witnessing that @$$ whippin' you all put on us out in vega$. there were enough distractions going on n that town to keep my mind off that game. i underestimated that big boi QB you all had that year. for a big man, he was the truth.

anyway, hope you can make it out. the krooked-letters will be there deep!!!
