2011 SWAC Football Week 12 Picks
Saturday, November 19, 2011:
*For some reason, this week's picks were even more difficult for me. Since the Western Division teams are so dependent on each to lose, I had trouble picking with my head instead of my heart.
Alcorn State at Jackson State (Capital City Classic, Jackson, MS-1:00PM)
Alabama A&M at Prairie View A&M (homecoming, Prairie View, TX-2:00PM)-for obvious reasons, I want Alabama A&M to win, but my fondness for Prairie View runs very deep. It is their homecoming and they're fresh off a win. I'll always bet on Black (Panthers).

At this point, it's not about Birmingham.......it's about finishing with a winning season!

Alcorn State @ Jackson State- Not much explaining needed. The braves look pretty bad this year even more so now than ever. Look for the Tigers and the 10 graduating seniors to Go Out With a Bang.
Alabama A&M @ Prairie View A&M - They both faltered and fizzed out against us. Neither of them looked impressive at all. I got Bama state vs PV in the SCG.

Alcorn St. @ Jackson St (Capital City Classic, Jackson, MS) - 1:00 pm (JSU will need the football to score. Arnold Walker won't let that happen. They will also greatly underestimate the Braves Defense. Bend but not break greatly describes them this season. They just need a little help from the Braves Offense. T-Lew goes off against the weak JSU Special Teams. Alcorn's SPECIAL TEAMS wins the game 29-28)
