Congrats PV!!!!!! Way to rep for the SWAC West and the State of Texas.

I agree with others, find the way to get the game to the Superdome or scrap it. From what i saw on TV that was a Highschool football atmosphere. And as previsouly stated, blacks don't do well in the elements.

No excuses. last year there were 30,000 and it was bitter cold. Year before that, there were 43,000 and it rained. It depends on whose playing.

Jay kill that shit... last year it was a beautiful sunny day..... its TURNED cold right before halftime. Today it was a high of 40... it rained the entire game..... the year before when JSU won the championship... no rain until the last quarter of the game.... folks were outside without coats on before that.

Ball broke the plane in the players possession EVERYBODY saw that. Ground caused the ball to come loose. Congrats PV from a TSU TIGER!!! You would have won anyway.

I'm beginning to think its NOT the location, its whether the fans will show up or not that's important. Move the game all you want but you're still going to have an attendance problem. The only time I've seen Legion Field even close to capacity was during the MCC. (For HBCU Games) I'm almost convinced that people see the SWACCG as some kind of joke.

On a catch you have to maintain possession of the ball through the reception. The WR caught the ball and when he hit the ground the ball immediately popped out and touched the ground.

A similar call was made in the Colts-Texas game where Andre Johnson caught the ball in the endzone, but after he hit the ground the ball popped out. The officials overturned the touchdown because of that.

Congratulations Prairie View. You all earned the crown. That was pretty good game to watch on tv. Both teams represented the SWAC well. I just wish somebody could explain why the teams closet to the stadium don't support the game. Forty degrees and rain in Bham does not equate to the North Pole.

It was a hella' game and AAMU is a hella' squad. That Mason will be SWAC POTY, mark my words. He's a beast. :tup:

Congrats to PVAMU. Everyone worked soooooooo hard for this moment. :( It all paid off.
