Swac Football Attendance - Week 9

I have one question for you jSU folks, including that half breed tiger/lion. Was it the WIND or the WATER? :emlaugh:

I had a great time at homecoming. Wish we could have won though. A lot of people were there hanging out on campus!!! Great atmosphere.

Yesterday was a perfect day for football. For the first time in years, the weather really permitted all the ratchets to come out. I was sure it was going to be a sellout, and am still convinced that count is incorrect. Hell, people were all in the rafters!

Traffic was backed up this weekend at SU but it did move rather smoothly. I had to park in the back in a lott across from some dorms. Parking was $20. Also, the new field house looks nice on the outside and from the pics I saw on the inside as well but is there not a visitor locker room located in the new field house? If it is, why do teams still have to walk to yal old gym to get dress before the game and after the game, and then go under the home side bleachers to the locker room after pre game warm ups and half time?

No offense, but who cares about the visiting team? Make them take that walk to Seymour Gym. lol

Dude...I have been harping about this for a while. SU is so stupid and ghetto they don't allow folks to use the visitors looker room right there off the track. They say they don't want visitors messing up their new locker room. Its really the ghettoest shit I've ever heard. The SWAC office should get involved in making SU let visitors use the locker room....but since that loser didn't even pick up the phone to call Grambling about NOT playing a game they will never speak to SU about them giving their team an unfair advantage. Too bad them blocking the locker rooms didn't help them from taking an ass whipping from JSU and Alcorn
SU's Track team uses those locker's and if they didn't y'all still couldn't use them.

You parked off campus. The left side of the road is off campus. You got jacked  . There was free parking towards the back of campus.

Alcorn's QB's dad was Gibbs from Southern Lab?

Don't think so. His Dad is an older guy. Gibbs is from Houston so I assume his Daddy is too. Alcorn's QB went to school with our LB, backup QB and backup WR at Booker T Washington.

S.U. did have a QB that finished from Southern Lab by the name of Norman Gibbs in the last 70's but I'm not sure that is his son......

Gibbs is from Houston. His dad is a Houston BTW alum also and played his college ball at UCLA. Gibbs dad and Herb grew up together.

You are correct JR. Gibbs' dad and I grew up together. His father is about 3 or 4 years younger than I am. Played sandlot basketball next door to me. His father attended UCLA on a football scholarship and he has/had two sisters (the younger sister passed away several years ago and was married to my neighbor that lived across the street from me).

Glad you set the record straight or we would have had Sujagtilidie in here claiming Gibbs dad was in his class at Southern and how they used to skip class together and go watch Dancin Dolls practice.

Thx for clarification. Definitely a different set of Gibbs. Who knows, they may be related though.

LMAO. C-Leb, yall wrong for that. I already had said the kid Daddy was older. Which means older than JR hence older than Jagtillidie.

He is nice and very passionate about his children and politics.

Yeah he struck up a conversation with me as we were headed back from the stadium. He quickly mentioned he was Alcorn's Qb Daddy. LOL. Then was talking about the BTW kids we had on our team at SU. Lindsey had intercepted JGII and scored before they called it back on a penalty. I think we have 3 BTW grads on SU team.
