Swac Football Attendance - Week 9

Was more people on campus then the JSU game I will give them that

On campus??!! WHAT ABOUT IN THE BLEACHERS?! LOL!!

LOL @ "on campus". Hahahahahahahahahaha!!! Where that waterh...uhhhh bighead dude who made those dumb statements? He ain't nowhere to be found.

Did SU have more attendance for homecoming than the JSU game like y'all said last week.

I knew that was a joke

Remember how sooooo many folks from Alcorn come to watch the game
It was 2 times more people on campus for Homecoming than the jSU game. SU's campus haven't been that packed since the first year of Jaguar Roundup. Traffic was all the way messed up. Even SU's team was late arriving on campus. But you know how homecoming is. Folks been partying all weekend. A lot of folks were to drunk to go in the game lol.

There were more folks on the yard and in those suites. I know for a fact some folks didn't get counted due to hookups, invites, etc.

Dude you act like we were 10k under the JSU game number. Lol. It's homecoming. Folks were partying for days on campus. It way more crowded than the JSU game. Tell you what. SU made more money off this game than the JSU game.

We invited a few State legislators on the hookup so that we can get some extra money to close in the south endzone. :emlaugh:

Alcorn did have more fans than y'all bruh. I will give them that. What happened in Shreveport? That was a short ride from Jackson and Dallas where y'all got some alums. Plenty of room to tailgate and sit.

Dude my Frat Bro caught and kicked out 36 people with counterfeit tickets/field passes alone.

Man, I saw the politicians rolling around the yard. Saw more white folk on the campus than I ever seen outside of them going to SU Law Center. Lol. A lot donations happened this weekend. Heard some good stuff from Dr. Lorens.

Exactly, I had to park way in the back past the agriculture building

Out of 124 FCS schools, we have the 10th largest football stadium according to the NCAA in the country (8th on campus).......Good Stuff

Most of the time, many of these people posting don't know what they're talking about. You actually had one of them a few days ago talking about S.U. streaming athletic events is unfathomable at the same time a live event was being streamed. :emlaugh: You would believe that we don't have a regional t.v. contract and they do listening to some of the foolishness posted in this forum. Some of these folks lie so much until they actually believe some of the mess they post. :emlaugh: I like what S.U. athletics and Dr. Broussard are doing and the work they're putting in. We're just so damn great! :emlaugh: Some of these people act just like Precious mother. :emlaugh: They have no idea we look at S.U. board meetings online. And I think it's a damn shame the way they are treating Kendrick. Is it really that serious? :smh:  :emlaugh:
27K is a great crowd and above our listed capacity. And of course many of our people are going to tail gate and enjoy homecoming festivities outside of the stadium like no other game.

You know they are in that private forum reading everything you type. You know, the private forum Kendrick was giving the boot. I'm sure they are in there now trying to figure out their plan of attack for what you just typed. Don't be surprised you get bombarded with five different replies all at one time. :emlaugh:

They just remind me of the Tea Party republicans and go way overboard. With those cats whether it's attendance or anything else, the cup is always half way empty. I believe some of them would stroke out before congratulating S.U. on the great numbers and a successful homecoming. If they would crush their own over something so petty we don't stand a chance. :smh:  :emlaugh: You simply can't disagree with their perspective and not become public enemy #1......damn shame

And Kendrick didn't make any threats of kicking their asses. Maybe that explains why SGT wanted to whip their asses.

So it was a "successful" homecoming when getting your ass kicked? Who says such illogical stuff.

More folks refusing to actually go INSIDE the gate than at the JSU game? Hmmm, interesting indeed.:snicker:

And folks worrying about what we do in a PRIVATE forum?! Just like a bunch of women, just worrying bout the wrong thing. Worry bout that L them injuns put on yall. Hahahahahahaha!!!

Didn't jackson state and prairie view play in Shreveport's Independence Stadium? That's a lotta empty seats. :smh:

I saw the pictures and noticed the stands looked empty...I just figured it was because folks from both schools were recovering (financially and mentally) from Homecoming the week before. :noidea:

JR,

I got three words that tells me that SU is about to receive monies for long overdue projects and they are, "Re-elect Mary Landrieu". I bet the campus wide erosion control/drainage project will be one of them, which would include more than just drainage improvements. Those are federal funds that would need U.S. Senate support since they would be placed in the Army Corps of Engineers budget. SU's drainage is directly tied into the Mississippi River, which is control by the Corps of Engineers.

Traffic was backed up this weekend at SU but it did move rather smoothly. I had to park in the back in a lott across from some dorms. Parking was $20. Also, the new field house looks nice on the outside and from the pics I saw on the inside as well but is there not a visitor locker room located in the new field house? If it is, why do teams still have to walk to yal old gym to get dress before the game and after the game, and then go under the home side bleachers to the locker room after pre game warm ups and half time?

I got question. So if you don't win homecoming, it can't be successful? Really? I mean Homecoming is for the fans and alums mostly the alums. SU folks have always enjoyed homecoming win or lose. Especially the alums. You may be disappointed about losing but damn, when you haven't seen people in years and you get to hang, that is what Homecoming is about. The football game is really the sideshow when it comes to any school's homecoming. Even at Ohio State. They want to win. But it ain't the measure of success for homecoming. I would imagine our AD, Chancellor, and ole Mason are happy as a mofo with the money they took in this weekend. So yeah it was successful.

BTW, losing in overtime ain't exactly getting your arse kicked. LOL. Had the score stayed 31-14. Then I would say we got our arse kicked.
