If it was that easy, all schools wouldn't have to come up with creative ways of raising funds, but it's not and never will be.

In all actuality, I applaud SU and GSU for not budging on this matter because if they did, in two to three years, tennis, soccer and volleyball would probably be non-existent at both schools.

It takes money to run sports programs, especially the nonrevenue generating sports.
Merely being invited to play in the FCS playoffs is nowhere near being enough to help make up the almost one million dollar loss in revenue both schools would accrue, neither would both schools nor the conference be given nationwide exposure like they're being given via NBC.
That's the big picture right there that you seem to be ignoring.

Dude, do more folks watch NBC or ESPN nowadays for football? If they want to keep their game, then ban both of them from being SWAC Champions. They can't have their cake and eat it too.

I refuse to sit here and let two schools hold up others who want to progress just for one damn game. Please don't let me be SWAC Commissioner. Oh, and to SU and GSU people who say, "Vote Us Out The Conference".....Where would you go :lol:? Like I've said, you need the SWAC more than the SWAC needs you.
 
No school (pwc or HBCU or anything in between) has 95% of its alumni giving back. What you have is more corporate dollars being given to certain schools and more high profile alumni giving big bucks but that number is nowhere near 95%.

man, you were SOOOO wrong. The NCAA banned you from ALL post season competition. Whatever you did warranted it. The SWAC had no say in it. The NCAA did not ban any school from SWAC sponsored tournaments. Our Presidents made that decision. :smh:

The NCAA banned us from post season competition. The same way yall were banned from post season competition. It spelled out in that report what post season means. Damn near the same definition in the statute as posted by Jafus. And based on it, it equates to the swac championship game being a post season game. Not just some regular season game as yall have said. In essence, the SWAC pres vote equates to the NCAA report in 2008. :snicker:

If it wasn't watched, it wouldn't still be on TV. Who are you? You have no power and just continue to bytch, whine and please angry at your own school for their lack of pull. While you are talking noise, you know you are on the couch on the Saturday after Thanksgiving at 1pm.:read:

OMG for 1billionth time! the bayou classic is not stopping anyone outside of Gram & SU from going to the playoffs Braveheart!!

The SCG is whats stopping schools from going to the playoffs oh not mention your schools lack of a winning program!
