The shooting in the women's A&M versus State game was absolutely atrocious. I doubt that either team shot more than 30 for 35% from the field. They struggled keeping balance on their feet today.

Congratulations AAMU Lady Bulldogs!

I wish our students and alumni had the experience of the rivalry game at the Acadome. Great Atmosphere today. AAMU president said they collected more than a half million dollars by hosting today's game.

and ASU got a random Monday night in Mobile lol

my issue is why cant our fans buy into the product regardless of who we play

but we have a nasty logjam from 2nd to 7th

Thanks...The game atmosphere was electric. I also miss having that game in the Acadome.

BUT… the Mobile game this year had more fans (well box score wise) than the AAMU/Bama State game at the Acadome last year. It was under 2000 people at the game in Montgomery last year. The game in Montgomery used to be packed about 10 or so years ago.

Hopefully we get Moses Davenport back before the tournament. She brings good energy to the team

We have classes of students - at least 4 years that have not experienced the home ASU vs AAMU game at the Acadome. That experience is lost and I am not sure it can be brought back. They did it when the previous coach was not putting a competitive team on the court. Instead of building on last year's March Madness, they move the game anyway.

This was one of the few horrible decisions made by our administration. They also made the decision without communicating it to students and alumni. I give AAMU credit when they moved their game to Mobile, they communicated it to fans, students and alumni. Our fan base found out when they played close attention to the schedule.   They lost 3 season ticket holder when they did this, but I am okay with my money in my pocket. :p

CONGRATS AAMU on hosting again!!! I will be there next year.

Not possible… the Bridge Builders Classic started in 2022… alternating home teams hosting it in Mobile…. So it’s impossible to have classes of students who haven’t experienced a AAMU and ASU game in the Acadome.

You don’t have to lie! Congratulations on the women victory. Our men pulled off an unexpected win.

Here is the box score from the game in Montgomery last season. https://bamastatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/stats/2024-25/alabama-am/boxscore/10814 Attendance 1916. Now since I dont appreciate being called a liar… i hope you find it in yourself to apologize.

10 years?? Attendance is down through out the conference. Only A&M has seen an uptick in attendance. Maybe, the new Event Center has something to do with the increase. Kudos to the Bulldogs, enjoy, but there’s no need for the embellishment.

Alabama A&M and Alabama State both showed out in their doubleheader on Saturday in Huntsville. Lady Bulldogs won their 15th straight game and captured the 1-seed for the SWAC Tourney. Coach Tony and the ASU Hornets pulled out a tough win on the road against the Bulldogs. Check out highlights from both games.

Now that the Hornet fans see how A&M fans support the Bulldogs in this rivalry game, maybe they will re-engage and create a more lively atmosphere in the Acadome. Bama State's enrollment was down for a while A&M's has been at record numbers. Maybe that partially explains the difference in the attendance numbers in Huntsville, Montgomery, or Mobile.

Our major problem is getting students to leave their dorms and attend the games. Alumni attendance has remained stable. However, televised games are having an effect on our group. We buy season tickets but watch the games on TV.
