I was at this game. It was really hard on the Lady Hornets, but they never quit playing or stopped competing.

Alabama State people: this may just be me, but you all's women's coaches seemed to be unnecessarily rough on your players. I'm thinking you have a female head coach and a male assistant coach: they constantly yelled at your girls the whole game. On offense, on defense, during timeouts, on each and every possession, constantly. Number 33 got chewed out big time, but I have no idea why. I'm guessing it may have been that way because it was LSU. But if your coaches are doing that every game, their voices are gonna be straight shot after a while.

That's nothing new....Freda always yellin at them girls. And the male assistant coach, i'm still yet to understand his purpose for being there, as he never assists to anything.:lmao:

For most of the game, ASU was playing a 2-3 zone on defense. And every time LSU had the ball, your male assistant was yelling, "Rotate! Rotate! Rotate!". This was throwing me for a loop, because there is no reason you should have to tell a player he or she needs to rotate when you're playing zone. I could see if you all were playing man-to-man, and he were saying "switch" if he saw a pick coming. But you're forced to "rotate", generally speaking, if you're in a zone. I guess he just wanted to be yelling out something.

Oh, and do your coaches substitute all during the game like that? Man, it was like on every dead ball, every foul, every time a whistle was blown, ya'll had girls coming in and going out. And don't let a timeout get called. I thought I was watching musical chairs or hot potato or something...

Southern played Houston Baptist? Was it in Baton Rouge or was it in Houston? The Houston Chronicle didn't mention anything about this yesterday and neither did the news. HBU is a NAIA program. I read on the internet that they played in the NAIA Volleyball Championships and not one word was mentioned locally.

Good win Jags.
