SU women lost to ULL at home by 2 on a shot at the buzzer. SU turned the ball over at the end and UL got a layup. No way SU should have lost, but I will say this. SU is loaded with potential.

SU was leading in the first half 34-20 but lost 82-59

Jag, do you understand how basketball works? The only VICTORY in "closeness" is the game of horeshoes and hand-grenade-tossing. :smh:

Y'all lost. Just say y'all lost man. lol

"We were leading by 2 pts w/ 19:53 to go in the 1st half." :retard:

Southern men lead early, fall to Iowa St.

AMES, Iowa — In his first year on the job at Southern, coach Roman Banks won 13 more games than the previous year with a lineup that lacked much depth, especially up front.

Banks was quietly hoping that this year might be different, that the experience of his five returning players from last year would help make up for it.

But after Friday’s season-opening 82-59 loss to Iowa State, he quickly realized his team will have to overcome the same issues in year No. 2 if the program is to make a similar leap.

For 20 minutes, the Jaguars outplayed the bigger, deeper Cyclones, but the lack of depth caught up to Southern, which eventually run out of gas down the stretch.

The season opener for Southern and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette came with some last minute fireworks Friday night at the F.G. Clark Activity Center. Unfortunately for The Lady Jaguars, they found themselves on the wrong end of a buzzer-beater, losing 71-69.

“It’s not the loss that bothers me, it’s how we played,” said Southern coach Sandy Pugh. “ULL played well. They ran their sets, they pushed the ball and got in the lane on us all night and they killed us at the end.”

"We were leading by 2 points after we got the tip and a fast break w/ 3-on-2 w/ only 19:53 to go in the first half!!!!" :retard:

Like that's some type of damned victory or something. lol You lost mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! Damn you LOST the damned game! :retard:

You sound stupid.

PV men lost last night to Texas Tech.

Jamal Williams Jr. added 15 points for Texas Tech, including 3-pointers on three straight possessions to spark an early run that gave the Red Raiders a lead they carried through the rest of the game.

Prairie View trailed by 20 points before getting as close as eight in the second half. Carl Blair was 15 of 17 from the free-throw line and finished with 19 points for the Panthers. Ryan Gesiakowski added 18 points.

Very, very telling statement in bold.

You sound stupid.

Actually, you sound backwardsly lol stupid. Y'all lost. You like to make spins out of losses. "we wuz depleted on defense... that's how dey scored fiddy points on us.... Stump our problem.... we almost had'chall, although we lost by 3 TDs" :emlaugh:

I'll play hand-grenade-toss w/ you ONLY if I can go first! :D :swink:
