WJAB hasn't broadcast home games since way before we moved up to D1....only away games. The SID and the PA announcer calls games on the road.... they both have other jobs to do at home games.

I found one across the street and one down the street,but they were asking $189 a night. Hell I am not trying to buy the dang place just stay a few nights.I would think since they are making people travel 6 or 7hrs that they would make some kind of deal with the hotels in Garland. I will find something within 15min.

Popeyes was my place too. But if a bunch of us was pooling our money together, that Church's was the way we went. :lol: :emlaugh: If we were going to Church's chances are we were headed to Sarge's to (I believe y'all call it Coleman's now) get some cheap wine (md 20-20, t-bird, wild irish rose etc) or some malt liquor (colt 45, old english etc.). :lol: :emlaugh:
 
J-State has the talent to win in the SWAC.

Coach Anderson is moving kinda slow this year, maybe its time for him to retire?
 
Looks like Southern and Alcorn M are distancing themselves from the rest of the pack. I'm highly leaning towards Southern because they have the SOS and obviously have the better coaching in the SWAC. :read: Go Jags! Win the tourney for Christ's sake. lol

I think The undersized Texas Southern Tigers beat Alcorn and narrowly lost to Southern on the road. Even though we can not go to the tourney we can still win the regular season. Mike Davis is doing as good a job as any coach in the SWAC, based on the players he has.

It appears it will return to the Bob Moreland, Ben Jobe, Dave Whitney days.

TSU has the best guard combo in the conference. I thought Banks out coached Davis in the first matchup. We will see how the 2nd one goes.

:nod: They really do. Strong and the new one Danner-Parker I think that is his name. TxSU just don't have much size. Valley tomorrow will present match up problems for us. They don't have size either though.
 
The new one is Ray Penn. Our guard are good, however small. Legs get tired late and have an adverse effect on the jump shot. The key for us is the play of Johnson Daimler and Aaron Claibourne. It appears they are starting to play better. Both of them have size and it allows our guards to get open looks.

JSU travels to Priarie View A&M (6-11, 1-3 SWAC) tonight in a game that will be televised live on ESPNU. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.

Don't know if I want to see this or not. :lol:
