Swac Basketball 2/13 & 2/15/09

I actually thought we would be down this year!...I was looking forward to next year with a healthy Davon Jones & Grant Maxey as well as Chris Hyche & Jenirro hyche elgible with Sykes at 7'2 elgible as well...We should win some out of conference games next year as well as dominate the conference

winning the swac is a non-issue next year. ... too easy.
 
& I think Oliver jefferson kinda messed it up for all the big men lol...yeah we have to really have higher standards next year...getting to the swac championship is not our issue...our issue is winning it but this years team is weird...G. Johnson was just flatout clutch tonight but when Hanson & Dixon are on...we are impossible to beat & Phil was BIG tonite sometimes I wish Phil would give Rod some of that enthusiasm & Rod would give him some of that ball handling ability
 
I think everyone knew that SU was going to find someway to lose the game despite dominating most of the game.
 



Kudos to Coach Drain-Rogers and the GSU women basketball team! I think that's about a 4 game win-streak. Good job so far in her second season...

Checked the record, we've won 6 of our last 7 with two huge road wins over TxSU and PVU!

I think the 2 hecklers gave hime some motivation at the end. Looked like they were having a back and forth conversation for the last few minutes of regulation all the way through overtime.

Ummmmmmmmmm... it's called a will to win w/out having to be vociferous (go go www.dictioinary.com and look that meaning up because I know that HS-university lol education didn't teach you ppl stuff like that over there :emlaugh: ). Basically, all talk, zero ass is what black eldering folx call it.

Pretty good wording huh black boy? :D We'll make the tourney and we'll have fan support there. That's all that matters to me @ this point.
