Baseball beats Alabama A&M 3-1

NORMAL, AL - The Jackson State baseball team beat the Alabama A&M Bulldogs 3-1 in the first game of the weekend's three-game series at Bulldog Field Saturday. The second game of the double header was rained out and will be made up Sunday morning.

With the win JSU improves to a 17-8 overall record and 9-1 in SWAC play. Alabama A&M falls to a 5-22, 0-10 record.

JSU and Alabama A&M will return to action Sunday, April 1 for the last two games of the series. First pitch is set for 11 am.

AAMU coach kicked out game.. JSU player hit a home run and ran past the runner who was on first... Everybody in the stands saw it but the refs.
