Hey, you don't have to tell whats going on every other minute. Just give the score every inning. You could even just edit you own post and update it that way.

It wasn't a problem when I was doing it for PVU :shame: .
9-2 SU. Clark hits a double. Filyah hits a single and get thrown out at second.11-2 SU. SU has runners on first and second. inning over.

Actually it was, if you look I did edit some of your post when I was on and most of them were just updates in between inning.
 
Tx. Southern played with no intensity, no feeling, like "I don't wanna be here anymore......" PV did their usual. Timely hitting, bunts, sacrifices and good base running. Chase pitched well again, was in control the whole time.

Penprase, the ss for Valley is real. A double, triple, and has speed. Valley had about 10 hits. But as a team, they are slow, extra slow. SU overpowered them.:nod: :nod: Kirk pitched a complete game. Kirk was able get out of 4 critical innings.

tomorrow's schedule

Alcorn vs. Valley at 10 AM
SU vs. PV at 2
'Corn-Valley winner vs. SU-PV loser at 6
 



2:00PM :rolly: :rolly: I wonder who is going to advance tommorrow undefeated? :D :D :D :D TBF...SU will start freshman left-hander Chris Donaby and Prairie View will start sophomore right-hander Adrian Canales.

Confident Kirk keeps Southern rolling

PEARL, Miss. — As Southern coach Roger Cador mulled whether or not he should keep Joshua Kirk as his starter or make the move to Antonio Garth on the short bus ride to Trustmark Park, the five-year veteran assured him he’d be all right.

Kirk struck out six and pitched a complete game as Southern beat Mississippi Valley State 11-3 Friday in the Southwestern Athletic Conference baseball tournament.

Kirk, though he’s 5-5 this season and was .500 last season as well, improved to 3-0 in SWAC tournament games, with complete games in each of the last two. Both are the longest outings of his career.

“Normally I don’t doubt myself in who to start,” Cador said. “But the selling point was when we got on the bus and he said he had these guys. You know what, you get a guy who has been the big-game pitcher, and when he said that, that was all I needed to hear.”

Earlier Friday, Alcorn State eliminated Alabama State 29-1 and first-time Western Division champ Prairie View knocked out cross-Houston rival Texas Southern 16-7.
