SWAC Baseball Midweek May 10th-12th





The Alcorn Braves will play Dallas Baptist in a doubleheader today. First pitch is 3 P.M. The game can be heard on wprl.org.

Quit the exhibition crap. You just said a couple of days that SU was loaded. Exhibition or not, if SU was so loaded they should have won at least one of the games being so loaded, per se'. BTW seems like LSU-E played to win, they said damn about an exhibition as try to call it and you act like the SWAC is the MLB or something, n!gg@ please. Exhibitions are common in the pro's.

He should've never scheduled them if he didn't intend to win. I wonder if this was not an "exhiibition," would they still have loss.

Would have been the same outcome. LSU-E isn't a slouch, they would beat up on all the SWAC teams. It's funny that he uses the exhibition excuse in certain loses. Every year he does it so i guess it's in his nature.

Never said SU didnt try to win, which they did. The players played like it was a exibition, just going thru the motions.
 
Any updates on the Exhibition game

Sidenote: They have the stats posted on swac.org for the SU vs LSU E exhibtion game does that not make it a exhibtion if the stats count

Why play an "exhibition" game this late in the season when you're trying to keep your starting lineup active and your starting pitching on a decent rotation? It makes no sense at all. Getting swept at home by such a team is sorta embarassing.

Per NCAA rules, games in any sport against junior colleges do not count as an official contest.

Someone may want to notify the SWAC and Southern regarding NCAA rules and I would hope that neither entity includes the game as part of their official report to the NCAA.
