band fan,

Ain't this nice. Not a Jag to be found. They scarcer than "Hen's Teeth". around here. They must still be in shock. Coach Rey takes 2 of 3 from Cador. GSU No.1 in the west.

Where's the game story?

Its easter, maybe they are still in Church:noidea:

I know Jag-Br and SuJAGtilldeathdothepart will respond...

Thames, its still many more games left...

We're in last place

I just came from a party. I responded with those smilies before I left. He never did say who fought.

5-0 GSU...top 3rd....

there was a nasty fight in the SU dugout which delayed the game....

:emlaugh: how the mighty have fallen...

Wtf are you talking about the mighty have fallen. Memo to Bf, SU has only lost 3 Swac games. SU ain't gone nowhere. When SU gets its arms, and its SS and CF back its over. Good game. You did what you were SUppose to do. Win at home. You can tell when people aren't use to winning against SU.

I was with the family, just made it home from the cook out. SU ain't gone nowhere.

The weather looks like it'll be nice this week...

Should I go to the JSU game on Tuesday here in New Orleans? Hmmm, sounds likely... ;)

Good series gram.

The west is open for 3 teams - PV, Gram, and SU.

The goal is to finish in 1st so you can play a bama in the 1st round.

The SWAC still needs to play better ball in order to compete out of conference. The little things still hurt our teams. Too many mental errors.

1 thing I enjoyed the most over the weekend was listening to about 4 veterans sitting behing home plate talking baseball. These guys played for gram back in the 50's or 60's. They sat and talked with Coach Ellis about the way the game is played now compared to when they played. One vet said "do they watch how terrible they look on film?" Someone asked him did they make errors like that in his day and he said "hell naw!! and we didn't have film!!!"

Routine plays just ain't routine these days. I go to games and pray an infielder will field a simple grounder, then pray again he makes a good throw to the base. Coaches today seem highly tolerant of errors.

Makes you wonder if these kids take infield practice (on their own)... every out is important, and the last thing a good baseball player wants to do is commit an error (especially in a close ball game). I am pleased with the amount of interest being shown on this site...and I'm really glad to see that Coach Rey is turning it around for us.

Don't know who was fighting, but I was told that a player on SU's squad knocked out an assistant coach. Don't have names, but if the assistant coach is a "friend" of mine then he can get ready to have to whup my azz when he sees me...:lmao::lmao:
