That's a flat out lie. JSU dominated the game in Jackson but just couldn't get timely hitting. A hit or two here and there, that game would've been over by the seventh inning.
Southern's terrible record should've disqualified them. It would be a total embarrassment for that team to come anywhere near the title game.
Why mess up another team's chances when you don't even have a chance because you're banned from the post season by the NCAA. That's a terrible shame.

Another untruth. Cador was trying to play on a neutral field when it was clearly TSU's home game.
