Bingo. I would say if Fernando was here SU would be in first place. SU's lineup is better than every team in the West, I have saw every team.

Im going off the excuses y'all making for su being weak this year in baseball. LOL at throwing games...
Y'all? Don't speak for me. I hadn't made not one excuse for the team this year but I do know losing 8 run leads with only 6 outs left is unheard of.

One day you fellows are going to begin listening to the "old man". What is happening to su has more to do with coaching upgrades than talent. The coaching position in baseball has become increasingly more competitive.....across the board. We have guys now who know the game and how to work the system and are NOT too lazy (or incompetent) to get the job done. Instead of relying strictly on talent these new jack coaches are working.

If su is suffering because an `assistant` coach left then maybe the head coach ain't who y'all thought he was or the SWAC has passed him by. If he is good at raising money then create a position for him to do that and hire a head coach.....otherwise prepare for more seasons like this one.

Once again 1 bad season does not mean it's time to push him out. About 75% of our issues have to deal with our bullpen. That is a talent or coaching issue. Perhaps our pitching coach just hasn't been able to push the right buttons with them. Just look at how many times SU had a 5+ run lead going into the last 2-3 innings and then give up an unbelievable amount of runs to lose. Correct the bullpen issues, and you have a team in a much different situation. Assistant coaches play a huge part with teams, especially when they are hired for a specific duty such as hitting or pitching.
