SWAC baseball 4/17-4/19

Dude, do you remember your own question? You said OC games. Where on your post did you say OC D-1 games? Seems to me that you can't even comprehend your own post. Now that's funny.

As with Commish Cups, when was the last time SU won one and when was the last time JSU won one? Just askin'. I intentionally made the question as simple as possible for comprehension purposes.

*SU - I can't remember... been a while but I can tell you the last time their track team tried to gang bang and got that ass tapped. :lecture:

*JSU - 2008

next question :)

Jayrob, just ignore them. They haven't had crap to talk about... so let them enjoy their Baseball Season.
They talked the same sh*t last season and the season before.... etc... and look what happened. EVERY year its "THIS IS THE BEST SU TEAM WE EVER HAD" yet they can't win the dayum Championship on their own field. :shame:
SU's athletic Program is STILL in a SLUMP!
They really need this Baseball Championship... and they need it bad!

Look on the bright side, At least they won Bowling! :noidea:

Did y'all win it on your own field...

I wait over here for a football related diversion...>>>

And what championship has jSU won this athletic calender year. Oh wait, golf is coming up. snicker.

And jSU didnt win a D-1 OC game last season  .

Bottom line is that JSU has the most stable sports program in the SWAC, hands down. We're competing in the three major sports, not to mention track, tennis and golf. What other SWAC school can make that claim?

Hey J-stankys...........

Got any football playoff wins?
Got any basketballl NCAA Tourney wins?
Got any baseball regional wins?
Got more commissioner cups Than S.U.?
Got more BCF National Championships than S.U.?
Got your own football stadium?
Got a basketball arena before S.U.?
Got a Dick Howser Award Winner in Baseball?
Got series lead in football against S.U.?

I could go on but you stanksters got the jpg

Dude, this is the sports board, but since you went there, I'll oblige.

--How many football playoff wins does SU have?
--Where did that win get you? Nowhere.
--SU women gave yall the trophy by default. JSU's men have more overall titles than SU. Now that we're concentrating on both men and women's programs, it's been no contest over the last three years.
--You can have baseball.
--You do know what MYTHICAL means don't you? IMAGINARY....
--What does having one's own football stadium have to do with anything? USC don't have one so what's your point?
--What does a basketball arena have to do with anything? That's two dumb questions in a row by you.
--Again, you can have baseball.
--Dude, since 1970 (era of modern football), JSU leads SU 21-17. Yall can thank james b*ll for it even being that close.

Now here's what TRUE legacy and domination means.

JSU has more Hall of Fame players than SU.
JSU has more drafted NFL players than SU.
JSU currently has more NFL players than SU.
Since joining the SWAC in 1959, JSU has more SWAC basketball championships than SU.
JSU has more NBA players drafted than SU.
JSU has more current NBA players than SU.
JSU has more golf titles than SU.
JSU has averaged more fans in football attendance over the last twenty years than SU.
Since joining the SWAC in 1959, JSU has more SWAC football titles than SU.

I could go on and on, but that's enough.....for now.

I REALLY WISH YALL WOULD TAKE THAT SH!T OVA TO THE SMACK BOARD!!!! WHO CARES HOW MANY OOC FOOTBALL GAMES ANYBODY WON?

This thread was mainly about scores....baseball scores and info. Why some of yall summa-beeyotches gotta ack stupid and childish on every thread? Grow tha phuck up!! And shut tha phuck up!

:topic: Congrats on the blowouts J-state. Looks like bama a&m needs a hurler after 2nd game.

We lost the 1st game to UTPA 13-5. This team only has 8 wins on the season and I think they swept PV. Also, JSU has blown them out this year.

Dude, tell the whole truth. Your women saved you, that's the only reason yall won those Commish cups. JSU's men won most of the trophys on the men's side, but we didn't put much emphasis on our women's sports.
Now that we have, we've won the last two Commish cups. At JSU, we compete in all of our major sports.

As for OC wins in football, we won one this year and won one in basketball as well. As a matter of fact, we swept yall in basketball? I know you don't wanna get into basketball with me or football history. Fair warning, you can't win on either count.

Again, you better hope like hades that SU wins the SWAC baseball championship in baseball or yall gone have pure hell to pay on the smack board.

Now back to baseball.....

Why wouldn't we wanna get into football history with jsu? We kicked ya'll ass last year, we've kicked ya'll ass more than you've kicked ours, and we have more titles........GTF outta here

SU’s Maloy set to test ankle against UAPB today

Had the weather not forced a change in plans, Jarrett Maloy would have taken the mound Saturday afternoon.

He would have been rested. He would have been ready to kick off Southern’s three-game weekend series at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Maloy will start today instead, and upon further review, that’s not so bad. After all, if you’re planning to pitch on a crummy ankle, one more day of rest won’t hurt.

The Jaguars’ junior right-hander will have 15 days’ worth of recovery time when he throws in the first game of a doubleheader, which begins at 1 p.m. today. Maloy hasn’t pitched in a game since Prairie View’s Brandon Kendricks hit a line drive directly into his right ankle.
“My leg is about 90 percent,” Maloy said. “I have pretty good agility right now. It’s just a little tender, as far as touching it. But other than that, it’s good to go.”

Dude, JSU has more SWAC titles since joining the SWAC. Don't have me to post the numbers.

One more thing I forgot to add....JSU has at least two prospective players who will be drafted next Saturday. How many does SU have?:snicker:

jSU has 1, the DB Johnson, who was abused by Stewart. SU has 1 also, with Vince Lands. Everyone else from jSU will be free agents.

This a baseball thread anyway, how many baseball jSUers are going to be drafted.

Oh, NOW you want to conveniently revert back to baseball?

Dude, JSU not only has Johnson, but Marcellus Speaks as well. SU's Vince Lands will be nowhere near being drafted, so you can save that "dream" for somebody else. Vince Lands???!!!!!:lol::lol:

HSRN's VANCE TAKES A LOOK AT TOP HBCU NFL PROSPECTS
Monday, April 06, 2009

HBCU's have notoriously been fertile grounds for the National Football League, in fact there is not enough paper in the world to list the numerous players that have made the jump from historically black colleges and universities to excellence in the NFL.
Super Scouts/Architects Bill Nunn ('70s Pittsburgh Steelers) and Lloyd Wells ('60s Kansas Chiefs) were masters of mining "Diamonds in the Rough" at HBCU's in helping to build Super Bowl winning teams and the pipeline continues today with players like Jacksonville Jaguars LB Justin Durant (Hampton). This year the talent level at HBCU's is exemplary and you can expect to hear many HBCU players' names called at the upcoming 2009 NFL Draft....

Vince Land's name is not even on the honorable mention list dude. Sheesh!!

Now back to baseball.....
