TSU LOVE
SWAC member schools, how well does your school maintain updates on the athletic site at your school?

What grade would you give your school?

Does your you school list a new or interim athletic director's email address on the athletic staff directory site in a timely manner?

Does your school remove from their athletic website fired, retired or coaches that have resigned from your school in a timely manner?

Does your school remove old season ticket link(s) from it's site and replace it with a new one that has already been announced in a timely manner?

When you and other alumni make athletic staff members at your school aware of deficiencies do they address it or let it linger for months to year?

My grade for my TSU is F.
 
If they are fired they are gone RIGHT THEN… and they are usually post the new coach on the site before it is even announced (unless it’s your football or basketball coach)…. Rosters are updated fast… if someone is kicked off or quits, they are deleted fast. My only problem is all the bios aren’t updated.

I'm not smacking and I'm very serious. I was SERIOUSLY hoping no one would bring this subject up because it is a sore one. :(

I'll bridle my tongue on the things I saw on certain SWAC athletic sites over the last 1.5 years.

What you say,......those are foreign concepts on tsusports.com any day of the week.

I'm through bridling my tongue. What good has it done? Clenching our teeth and running over to the private forum to vent has only nursed persistent foolishness into a permanent existence. The folks employed to do better or not ashamed so I will stopped being ashamed. I'm typing on here today, but on another day will be to the president's office and to the chair of the regents athletic committee.

It will get you put out the sTu "clique." It's lonely outchea' fighting for what is RIGHT, and not being in the PV "clique," I mean, the sTu "clique." I wouldn't wish this journey on anyone because it is never personal and 100% business.

All that glitters in the public isn't gold and I'll leave it at that. "Championship year" or not. 👀

I hear you, but I'm interested in results. You're right, it's business not personal so I'm not interested in making friends are holding on to any. The foolishness on our website has potential season ticket holders calling on TSU faithful supporters like me and others because the football season ticket site hasn't been updated. That kind of mess has to come to an end. It's damn shame, but everything has to go through the President's Office or before regents to get simple stuff done.
 
The TSU website is not updated enough and from article to article you have about 2 seconds to read the title. I really would love to be a part of that athletic department.
 
you would be surprised on how priorities have shifted culturally when it comes to websites - social media rules now and that's all ages - alot of people say they hate to read long stories but part of it also now is how it as affected the younger generation and their mindsets - they all want a camera in their hand :sad:

How is any of that an impediment to keeping a school athletic site updated? Hypothetically, was it at a four year university that would hinder it from updating basic information on their athletic site?

Must be a school problem… all of our players reported to school this summer, enrolled, and went through summer workouts…. As soon as they enrolled they were added to the roster. They both have already taken pictures and everything…. Same with football…. https://aamusports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster

We're still recruiting

Now football... yeah I've come to deal with not seeing a roster until fall camp starts because we recruit up to the last minute and see who actually shows up (or in last year's case, players were on campus for summer school and flunked out smh)

It can be edited lol……put them up there as soon as they enroll. Yall didnt have any players enrolled this summer?
