I have to say after watching softball and baseball tournaments these guys doing the games are not good. I'm stopping short of calling them horrible. They are football or basketball dudes trying to do baseball. I heard the play by play guy constantly saying "and a strike to centerfield".

I’m gonna somewhat agree with you on this one... I liken one of the announcers to Jay Walker in his subtle bias to/against certain schools in his commentary.

They all are play by play guys and can’t have two Batmans on at the same time - bring Cador on or someone like that to do color. He’s there anyway.

Plus no one except Alcorn and maybe Bama State does baseball live on a consistent basis but they only see 1 side so their knowledge of the West teams are extremely limited.

They are horrible!! Watching the PV/SU game last night, I can’t tell u how many times I said “sthu” at my screen..... calling a ball a strike and vice versa... Where do we find these folks? 🤔

Their knowledge of baseball, in general, is limited.
