What do you like to do in the Summer? I like to:

Attend vacation Bible School
Grill
Take short trips
Work in garden
Shop
Visit Museums
 



Missing the Days of Old......

However, I enjoy:
Swimming
The Beach
Warm Nights
Picnics
Baseball/Softball
Road Trips.....
 
Attend Festivals (a different one every weekend)...makes me miss pre-Katrina New Orleans even more. :bawling:

Wear my Summer gear and sandals

Eat BBQ, crawfish, watermelon and Plum Street snow cones...another New Orleans memory. :bawling:

Take a few road trips

Lay by the lakefront/river on a blanket with a good book to read in between napping..oh I miss New Orleans :bawling:

-I love to attend cook outs, crawfish boils, etc.

-Swim or attend pool parties...well, hang out in the pool or by the pool, cuz I can't swim.

-Go to the park, zoo & museums

-Go to 6 Flags and the Waterparks

-Travel

-Go to the lake/marina and feed the fish

-pretty much attend any outdoors function

I wonder this all the time...why some black folks can't swim...

One of my boys has a pool and neither him nor his wife can swim and the pool is 10 feet in the deepest section.

black folks can't swim, b/c we either don't like the water, or we scared of the water, or a combination of both.

But we will damn sho get in the shallow in a splash a MOFO...the funny thing is when we were little we used to go to the neighborhood pool in Ruston. Man kids with curls were mad cause they had to wear that curl cap....that **** was so funny to me....
