Succinct Reasons Why JSU will win the 2007 SWAC Football Championship

Tigerpride

THE Logical ONE
If any of you can hang with this, speak now or forever hold your peace.

1.) No team in the SWAC returns more starters than JSU (at least 15).
2.) On top of that, we have a great group of props and redahirts ready to compete with 11-15 transfers for starting and back-up positions. We will be the most talented team in the SWAC by a landslide.
3.) We are no longer in transition. Our players now know the system.
4.) Even in a transitional year, we had a break even season (5-5) against 1-AA competition and we were just 5 points from an overall 9-2 season. Imagine the improvement from an additional Spring and Pre-season drills to get the team on one accord.
5.) Defensive concerns have been addressed.
6.) The offense was beginning to learn their role and began to gel by the end of the 2007 season.
7.) The biggest threats in the EAST (AlaState and Alcorn) come to Jackson.
8.) The biggest threats (oxymoron) in the WEST (maybe GSU and UAPB) come to Jackson..the WEST is weak. Last year 5 of the top 6 teams were in the EAST. :shame:
9.) We have the best staff in the SWAC.
10.) We are just going to be too big, too strong, and too fast for the rest of the SWAC!!

ummm TP,
is it unavoidable for this season, or once the season starts, are you gon try to save face by saying that you were really talking about next season?

you know, kinda like you always do

MH, you ain't got to lie to kick it so you should tell these morons that for the first time since 2003, TP is proclaiming that WE are the best team in the EAST....hands down. You can put it in your sig. I gave the nod to AlaState in 04 and 05 and AAMU in 06. JSU got this in 07, 08, 09...you get the point.

You can liken that little cloud you see in the background as our rebuilding year, which was last year, so if things go like you said it would and as it did with Elijah, we should have a PRODUCTIVE season.:clap:

BiggMike, I think we're that little guy on the mountain that see the rain cloud in sight.

Now you guys might be like this road lizard that got caught in your drought of a 3-8 season record.

Since yall wanna analyze the picture... you will notice that Elijah is facing the East to pray and they cloud that TP's ancestor is pointing toward is also in the East. Unbeknownst to yall, there's a BLACK STORM moving in from the West (along I-20). Yall azzes gonna get flooded with whup azz...AGAIN! :lmao::lmao:

You going for the TKO?

If any of you can hang with this, speak now or forever hold your peace.

1.) No team in the SWAC returns more starters than JSU (at least 15).
If they were average players last year they will be worst in 2007

2.) On top of that, we have a great group of props and redahirts ready to compete with 11-15 transfers for starting and back-up positions. We will be the most talented team in the SWAC by a landslide.
This arrangement only works in D2 ball, will get caught at the D1AA level

3.) We are no longer in transition. Our players now know the system.

4.) Even in a transitional year, we had a break even season (5-5) against 1-AA competition and we were just 5 points from an overall 9-2 season. Imagine the improvement from an additional Spring and Pre-season drills to get the team on one accord.
No such thing as a transitional year, either you win or you lose

5.) Defensive concerns have been addressed.
Will not be able to stop Banks at AAMU

6.) The offense was beginning to learn their role and began to gel by the end of the 2007 season.
Trick plays are difficult to execute. Ball players need someone who can teach offense

7.) The biggest threats in the EAST (AlaState and Alcorn) come to Jackson.
Just hard for you to say AAMU

8.) The biggest threats (oxymoron) in the WEST (maybe GSU and UAPB) come to Jackson..the WEST is weak. Last year 5 of the top 6 teams were in the EAST. :shame: Never use the word maybe

9.) We have the best staff in the SWAC.
Now you have to believe it.

10.) We are just going to be too big, too strong, and too fast for the rest of the SWAC!!
Everybody is big and fast, but don't forget to draw that in front of them to see they are moving.
