SU MCKINNEY HEADS STATE ATHLETES IN AUSTIN(NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS)

In the days leading up to the NCAA Mideast Regionals two weeks ago, Southern track and field coach Johnny Thomas said high jumper Michael McKinney was training so will he could compere with anybody in the country.
McKinney certainly proved it that weekend, winning a competition that included Southern Mississippi's Cedric Norman, the national leader this spring, to earn a trip to the NCAA Championships.
McKinney will try to prove it again this week when he goes against Norman and some ot the nation's other top jumpers in the NCAA meet, which begins a four-day run today at Mike A. Myers Stadium. :splat:

Except when you are competing against the NCAA Indoor runner up Marcus Harris. ;)
 
I grew up with lil Mike. He has the will to win it. Very hard worker and he use to be one hellafied basketball player too. Should have played in college.
