I'm not blaming them.....especially in track, or baseball, or basketball. If my coach was looking.. maybe.. but your coaches and athletes ARE looking so there is no maybe for you.
Why ya'll always gotta try to pull somebody else into ya'll mess? It ain't like this "just happened". You know why it happened. sheesh!
I heard rumblings about him possibly trying to make a move some time ago and makes the move this close to school starting.
Hey JR/sujagtillIdie, will SU go the interim route since school is about to start?

But to say it "just happened", why wouldn't just go to ULL or somewhere close just to get the hell out of there?????
Both, the track star and the former olympic coach was offered to attend top notch programs.
I could see if everyone that has left went to a D2 school or someone lower than our programs. But to go coach at Georgia($$$), run track at A&M (go see their facilities), and play basketball at Memphis is a whole much larger than what you are proclaiming.
sheeesh x 2!!!!
Hopefully the next coach can continue what Brian did.
I'm sure that when we had an Olympian on our team two years ago and when Michael Tinsley (Olympic silver medalist) was at JSU, they probably got offers too.. but they didn't go to another university.
sheesh x 3

Honestly, I do too but until you all get a good AD and your department gets off the chopping block, it might be hard to do.

WOW.. not just FBS but BCS..go ahead on Southern!!!! whoooo hooooo!
Reminds me of Caesar playing the fiddle while Rome was burning to ashes.

I would like to ask GR, TigerPride, and Jayrob a question. We all know that SU has APR issues........and currently those issues are mainly administrative in lieu of academics. But, do you think that if SU was not on APR probation, would he have taken the job? Or would he have been looking for the job?
IMO, I don't think there's many SWAC coaches in any sport that wouldn't jump for the opportunity to be an assistant coach at a SEC school. I believe the only reason Banks didn't take the job at A&M is he would probably be looking for another job next year 'cause A&M is about to start looking for a new HC.
Yes, the APR mess hurts SU. And Yes, he did say (in the paper) this was merely a financial move. But do you think even with your school receiving rave reviews from the NCAA, would your track coach love your school so much he would turn down a job from a SEC school???
ps., If your comments are the typical :smash: 'cause of APR and "leadership", please disregard my post.

Wayment...how I get in this? You want me to actually think about an answer? We dont do that anymore on TSPN...Uuuuuh OK
Listen, you guys have a very bad administration right now. Your leadership is usually poor and corrupt but its in disarray for sure. You have a poor AD and the future of your athletic department is failing and really up in the air under his leadership. Its smart for any of your players and coaches to jump ship especially if they are not vested into the university. You cant gamble your career on things getting better anytime soon when it looks like things might get a lot worse. I wouldnt blame that guy for going to Georgia, Georgia Southern, or Georgia Coummunity College.
I wish those guys the best
Jayrob is not keen on fine distinctions...Lol
I agree with 94% of what you said...except it wasn't Georgia Southern, GA State, or GA Comm. College. It was UGA!!!! It really would have said something if it were GA Southern. That's the point nearly most of the ppl on this thread are saying.Wayment...how I get in this? You want me to actually think about an answer? We dont do that anymore on TSPN...Uuuuuh OK

When Cador leaves to go coach BRCC, then we should be worried.......Alright....weres that Iraqi guy that keeps saying "nothing to see here"
Lets see what happens
When Cador leaves to go coach BRCC, then we should be worried.......
I get the point you're making, but Ga Sou has an enrollment over 20K and I'm willing to bet they could pay much better than we could. It really would have said something if it were GA Southern. .
what does tech have to do with this?Get Ready said:I wouldnt blame that guy for going to Georgia, Georgia Southern, or Georgia Coummunity College.

Do tell!!! I'd love to hear how many jucos go after SU fb players. Surely you don't mean BCS schools. I know that's not what you are saying...so they stay at a school with rocks on the field and no lines (like playing backyard football huh?) and no ice for ice baths.
